I went there my first weekend in town. I am moving down there and from a small town in Northwest Missouri and met a great friend we talk every night. Great place to meet new people and hang out.

We were visiting relatives in Nashville last weekend and ventured out to the Lipstick Lounge. We had so much fun that we stayed until closing. It was a very friendly crowd. We got to meet Christa and Jonda. Great ladies. Jonda gave us a tour of the newly renovated upstairs. They have television upstairs where we were able to see and hear the band downstairs. It was fun to be able to talk but keep a check on the action downstairs. We also played darts in their backroom. It is the nicest dart set up that I have ever seen. They are still working on renovating a private party room. I saw a new sofa in the shape of red lips so I know it should be a fun room. We will definitely go back the next time that we are in town.

Pros: Great Atmosphere and Friendly Crowd. Parking.

What a great place for Karaoke! LL has the best talent, very well run, and a great crowd for karaoke. Sometimes it does get a bet crowded late at night, but that's night life. I am a straight male and my girlfriend and I have always felt welcome and very comfortable there. The servers and bartenders have always been the best. It is an awesome reflection on the owners, they are fantastic and as much a part of the crowd. You may be sitting at the table next to them and not even know it.

Pros: Karaoke, Trivia, and Great House Band

Cons: Sometimes over crowded late at night!

My husband and I went last night and had a great time (even though I came in last place in the trivia game - guess I'm not "Jean the Trivia Queen" anymore). We felt welcome from the moment we walked in. Even though we were OBVIOUSLY hetero - we got a warm welcome and had a blast! Place got rockin' by 10pm and we stayed too long - hubby had to get up for work at 4:30 am - but it was worth it. The karaoke singers were fanatastic - but then again, this IS Nashville. We'll definitely be back next Thursday!!!

Pros: no one is turned away or made to feel unwelcome

Cons: got pretty croweded

When you walk in it gives you the feeling of a "Cheers", The employees know your name and your drink just after your first visit. I love to go there during happy hour just to unwind and talk with my friends. This is truly one of the most welcomed pubs around! The owners are the most talented and friendly people in the business. I will always cherish their friendship and kindness.

Pros: Ambience and Ecletic

Cons: Crowded on weekends

Even though this is touted as a "lesbian" bar, it is loads of fun no matter what your sexual preference happens to be. I always love going when Ronda and Jonda belt out the tunes. This is a fun place in a great location!!

I have been to Lipstick about 20 times and it is a great little bar. One of the last times I was there they grabbed a girl from the audience to do a little karaoke thing. Come to find out it was Sky Taylor they pulled up there, so you just never know who you will see when you go. BTW...why is Sky Taylor not playing there regularly???? Lipstick ROCKS...Sky Taylor ROCKS....seems like a perfect combo.... ~ scott

The atmosphere is rockin'. As a gay male, I enjoy going to the lipstick for the atmosphere and fun without all the drama. It is relaxing upstairs, where you can sit and chat with friendly people or go downstairs and join the party. I highly recommend the Lipstick for a change from the typical gay bars around town.

The lipstick lounge is by far the best bar in Nashville... I Love it... Ronda, Jonda, Crista, and Traci... are the absolute best... the bartenders are great... the wait staff is great. The single scene is in need of a few more single lesbian... so if your single come out... overall this bar is rockin. Thursdays at lipstick are the best. This is the kind of bar that gets you hooked all it takes is one time out and interaction with one of the owners... and you will be a regular patron.. Guarenteed... Thanks Ladies for giving everyone this kick ass place to relax.... as Jonda would put it... This place KICKS ROCKS...

I am a single lesbian in Nashville. This is far the best bar around for hanging out with friends and having dinner, playing trivia, and drinking. The owners are one in a million !! And they make you feel at home! I have been going there for about 6 months and I love it! The bartenders on every night is awesome but saturday nights I am amazed at the bartenders! it is so packed in there but they keep you not waiting. I highly recommend this place whether you are gayor a lesbian, single or taken. Bring your partner and come in. I also recommend if you are straight this is a cool hot spot. It is very classy! And thanks to the owners for making it so much more than just another dive gay bar! You gals ROCK!!!!
