I can honestly say that these popsicles are well worth the money. They are fantastic on hot days, always fresh, and there is never a shortage of variety. Once you find this place, you will never forget where it is. A suggestion from a seasoned Paletas customer is to take a freezer bag with you or buy one from them. You will never be able to get enough of these frozen treats.
Pros: One of a kind treat
Cons: Not enough hours in the day to try them all

if you love the adventure of trying new things this is the place to go. i have yet to try one of their creations that i do not like. they have all the normal flavors with pleanty obscure ones mixed in. there is definately something for everyone in this tiny shop. go on a beautiful day and enjoy your popscicle as you stroll around the park across the street.
Pros: great popscicles and friendly service
Cons: limited parking

You really havent lived until you have had a popsicle at Las Paletas. They are the best kept dessert secret in town. The ladies that work there are so friendly and love to tell you about the different flavors. My favorite so far is Rosepetal, but I have also tried the HOT chocolate, chocolate with hot peppers in it! They are all wonderful and I have never been unsatisfied. Make sure you run by the ATM first though because they don't take credit.

Once you find Las Paletas beware - you will become addicted. These fresh fruit and cream popsicles are not the ones from your childhood; they're better! Strawberry, peach, honeydew, cantaloupe and watermelon are delicious. The Mexican Caramel and Coffee are some of the tastiest frozen treats I've ever had. If you're looking for them on 12th they're at the corner of 12th (Granny White) and Kirkwood in the art deco building. Bring a cooler and stock up!
Pros: Unique popsicles, Fresh!
Cons: No signage

Last July, I was scouting out restaurants on Citysearch, preparing for my pending move to Nashville, when I stumbled upon Las Paletas. Having grown up in a handful of small towns in Pennsylvania, the notion of Mexican popsicles was entirely knew, exotic, and intriguing to me. I moved to Nashville in August, but it wasn't until I saw a review in the Scene that my attention was brought back to Las Paletas. I soon found myself driving up and down 12th Avenue South in search of the tiny store. I was dubious as I approached the unmarked storefront, but my fears melted away as I stepped inside and was greeted by Irma Paz. After my first tingly lick of the "Hot" Chocolate popsicle, I was hooked. I have since tried the Mexican Caramel, Hibiscus, and Coffee flavors...and with the coming of the warmer months, I WILL be back for more.
Pros: Delicious Popsicles, Inventive Flavors, Affordable Prices

There should be a 12-step program for those of us recovering from Las Paletas addictions. I'm not sure how I lived here nearly five years and never found this place until I recently drove by and noticed the quirky architecture of the building that houses Las Paletas. The building gives you an idea of what you're in for once you go in because these are no ordinary popsicles. They are amazingly fresh, and the assortment of flavors can be mind-bogglingly strange but wonderful. All of my experiences at Las Paletas have been great.
Pros: Everything

My boyfriend swears by the hibiscus and the Mexican caramel; I prefer the basil and mixed berry varieties. And all of the fruit pops are light, delicate, and delicious, with big chunks of fresh fruit.
Pros: the POPSICLES, pretty cheap, helpful staff
Cons: kind of expensive, closed Mondays, no seating, tough to find, tough to find
