I went to Castrillo's Pizza tonight and ordered a meat lovers. I was blown away at the quality. I must admit I finished a large by myself! I heard there were new owners and was a bit nervous, but they have proven that Castrillos still has the best pizza in Nashville. That pizza was made just right, I was very pleased. I was also suprised to see that the lobby was updated to a nice green and black decor. Overall, I was very pleased with this change... Keep it up Castrillos.

Pros: Great pizza for your dinner table.

Cons: Lack of parking

I used to be such a fan of Castrillo's. They certainly had the best pizza on this side of town--fresh crust that tasted as if it was made daily, excellent quality cheese and ingredients, and the perfect texture. Now there are new owners and the pizza is just not the same. Tonight my pizza was burned on the bottom, overdone on top, and too salty. I ordered thin crust, but it was much thicker than usual. The crust and the cheese both tasted old. The new owners told me they weren't going to change a thing, but I was very disappointed with my pizza tonight as it seems they've lowered their standards.

Cons: Pizza has lost its quality.

New to East End but found this great joint. The food is always fresh and tastes great. The service is prompt and I have never had any problems with take out or delivery.

Bought my E Nash home in 2004 - ordered Castrillo's for delivery in 2005. The owner delivered quickly and graciously. Since then I've met people who have very happily used Castrillo's to provide food for their gatherings. And it's a great place for meetings. I've ordered on the way home and taken the hot food home with me. And I have never had a bad experience. I love their wings, their pizza, stromboli, and sandwiches - yumm all the way! Just for reference, I also enjoy the Eastland Cafe, Margot's and her new place Marche, and The Red Wagon in E Nash. Outside of E Nash I recommend Mama Mia's and Ichiban (restaurants of the independently owned variety)

Since moving to Inglewood almost 2 years ago, I was delighted to find that the closest pizza delivery place was also the best! Our favorite is the Jordan's with spinach, peppers, olives, garlic and feta. Delivery is always prompt and there's usually a special which includes a 2 liter soda and either wings (also good) or cinnamon breadsticks (with frosting!). Highly recommended!

WOW! That is what I love about the east side -- so many different opinions. We had about 80 people for dinner over two evenings and Castrillos provided the pizza. The pizza was great, everyone loved it, the crew at castrillos did a great job in taking care of the order and they were awesome to work with....we will definetly eat there again. I say give it a try.

I have used castrillo's several times in the past for delivery. I will never use them again. I can only say it would be a waist of anyones time to call there for a delivery order. There is a young lady answering the phone who is rude, and down right nasty. I was put on hold and after enduring a long hold I was not helped but only yelled out and ridiculed. I am writing the owner of the compnay.

This was (as in used to be) the best pizza not only deliverable in East Nashville but REALLY the best. But something has changed. Thin and crispy crust is not thick and gooey. Fresh mushrooms are now canned. AND and this is unforgivable for my pizza they sprinkled dried herbs over the whole thing. NASTY is now the word. I hate this I really do. Used to be the best
