Great Food, Great Prices, Service Could Be Better!!

They need more supervision of their employees and less playing around. A professional attitude towards their customers would help to make this one of the finest restaurants in town, until then the will just be a good mexican restaurant!!

First time visit on a Friday night. Lots of parking if you have a 4x4. Chips were a bit stale but all in all the food was tasty and what you would expect of Tex-Mex. Service was friendly and accomodating for our large party of 17 people.
- Pros: Margaritas
- Cons: Parking
Check your bill in this place

I Use to go to this resturant often, i will NEVER go in there again, these people rip off the folks in the bar area, They will give you a bill, but not itemized, always ask for itemized bill they like to tack things on you didn't have, they overcharge when they think folks have had to much to drink and won't know. I have seen this happen to MANY people, i have seen so many people argue in the bar over there bill its rediculous. Food is great, from prior reviews i don't think they ever insinuated they were "Tex Mex" its good food and great margarita's, just watch things in the bar area. I can't stand a theif
- Pros: good food, good drinks
- Cons: be sure and check your bill
FABULOUS!!!

The food is great, the service can be slow a bit but that's only because half of the state of TN is at this place! The Margaritas are the best in Nashville so don't pass up an opportunity to try one!
If you don't like like this food there's something wrong w/you.
If you get upset at the occassional slow service b/c the place is hoppin' then stay home!
These guys are the best!!
- Pros: Great food, Great margaritas
- Cons: Occassional slow service due to the number of people wanting to eat here...
Worst of all Mexican Restaurants

I have had Mexican food in many states at different prices ranges and this was the worst. Do people in Nashville know what real Mexican/Tex-Mex is supposed to taste like? I went for the first time with my family who were visiting from out of town. We are used to much better Mexican food, so I was very embarrassed. The service was bad. The waiter got one of our orders wrong, so one of my guests was not able to eat with the group. The restaurant seemed really cramped. The fajitas had very little flavor and you can get better tasting meat at Taco Bell. I had a combination dish and I didn't like anything on my plate. My guests didn't either. The food sucked! Don't waste your time and money here.
- Pros: None
- Cons: Poor service, Low quality food
BEST DAMN MEXICAN FOOD IN NASHVILLE... PERIOD!!!

Cinco de Mayo was recommended to me by several co-workers so I took my family for dinner over the holidays. This place is BUSY FOR A REASON! There was a small line but they still managed to seat me in seconds, not minutes. We then got HOT CHIPS and salsa as we were sitting down. Our server was there quick, he smiled, answered our questions about the menu, and quickly made us feel like "amigos." I began noticing the little things that make this place special... little things like the perfectly colored and cut lime on my margarita. Their regular margarita is made with nice and smooth Sauza, not some cheap blended tequila. Its crazy, but I look for these things. So while I am enjoying my drink, we get more chips and the kids get refills without having to ask. They have this cheese dip that is magical, if they were to can this stuff and market it nationwide they would make a killing. At this point I am already completely thrilled with everything and dinner has not even shown up yet. I see servers hustling and tables being cleaned with the speed of a NASCAR pit crew. As expected our meal showed up lightning fast and hot. My fajitas were sizzling, everything was done just right, they even got my picky wife's order exactly right. I ordered the mixed fajitas with beef, chicken, and shrimp...they do something special to the meat that makes it tender and juicy, must be a special marinade. I have been to lots of other Mexican restaurants around town and the meat is usually chewy and bland... not here, Cinco's taste like I marinaded at home myself and grilled it in back yard. The rice is great, the beans are great, everything is great. My wife got the fajita quesadillas, I stole a bite, and yes... they are damn good too. We had fun, we have gone back several times, you quickly start to recongnize the regulars, now I am one. The bar is a great place to watch the game, nice TV setup, cold Dos Equis in a frosty mug. BEST MEXICAN FOOD AND STAFF IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
Worst TexMex restaurant in the area
by bindr at Citysearch
We ate there for lunch after reading all the reviews here at this site. The food was horrible! I sent the fajitas back to be cooked again. It wasn't crowded and yet our server -and all servers- were either not to be seen or running by the tables so fast that it was impossible to ask for more drink or salsa. Many times the staff was talking to loudly in the back or at the bar to the point we couldn't talk to each other. Many times our waiter didn't follow through with our request or he would come back and ask us to repeat ourselves. Huge disappointment. I don't think half the staff could even understand our requests. :
- Pros: priced pretty good but nothing was worth it
- Cons: server seemed to be in a sprint race

Sit-down Tex-Mex restaurant serves burritos, tacos, fajitas, beans and rice; margaritas and beer available.
