Best Chinese food in Franklin. Their soup, low mein, general's chicken are awesome. You can even get a take out carton if you don't want to stay for buffet. I recommend the house fried rice(not in buffet line up).

don't waste your money!

This has to be the worst buffet on the planet. The rice was crunchy and nasty. but most of the food was old and chewy. My wife asked if they could make hunan chicken and they said no that it was on the menue. I have been to other buffets and they were eager to make anything fresh. For three people it cost almost forty dollars for bad food! My wife got sick.

Absolute Worst Food I Ever Tasted

Today my husband and I walked into MIng's Buffet and had never tried it. Our seat was extremely wet but no one offered to dry it so we looked at the buffet. Not to large but seemed to be ok. I got 3 different dishes on my plate. My husband had 4-5 and we tasted the food at the same time. It was all cold and mushy vegetables. It was truly awful!. We got up and have never done that in a restaurant and we left. We weren't about to pay for something we didn't eat. No one was at the register and honestly it wouldn't have mattered. I am writing this review to tell people not to go to this place. No flavor and almost like bad water tastes in the food. What ever was terrible. Thanks for listening and hope this helps someone.

Cheap and Worth It

Well, first off, it's pretty cheap for lunch it's 6.75 not including sodas or tea, but free water. And at night its a little over 10 dollars a person with out drinks and almost 15 dollars for crab legs. The atmosphere is like being at home with your family, the waitresses are nice and the food is excellent. I've been to many chinese restaurants and no other place can beat Ming's. It's the best when it's football season or any other sports season because they have DirecTV and you can watch whatever sport you want to. It's great for family gatherings, and reunions or if you have a big party you can call and reserve a spot and they will assure you that you will get a spot. It's not only a buffet, you can order off the menu to dine in or take out. You can also take a buffet take out, but make sure you don't get too much or you might end up spending a lot.

Mmmmmings!

We love it. We're from Chicago and we know good Chinese. This is good Chinese. The flavor and quality of the food rivals any "non-buffet" Chinese restaurant. And it's fresh, hot, and replenished often. Kid friendly. Plus, the place is impeccably clean and well run. And yes, there are crab legs!

Good Quality Chinese Buffet

Overall, I would recommend Ming's Chinese Buffet. THey don't have a great large quantity of foods but the qualities of foods are great. The foods are more strictly typical chinese foods with very Americanize flavors. YOu know, some Chinese buffets have some dishes that have crabmeats with mayonaise and stuffs. THis one is more like a typical recognize Chinese foods. The foods are always fresh and hot, they don't sit in the pans for too long. Great place to have lunch, cheap too.
