I just saw the 2 negative posts on this school and had to argue against them. The owner of the school comes in daily to check in with all the classrooms and staff and also greets the families as they enter and leave. She is always friendly and professional! The teachers are friendly and very good with the children. The school even has tinted windows on all the entrance doors to each room so you can see your child in the room without them knowing! (I've always wanted to know what it's like to be a fly on the wall!) I love how my child's teachers always have something good to say about my child each day, even if there was some not so good news along with it! And funny that they say that the teachers are uneducated, when in fact, my child's teacher has a college degree in early childhood education... And When it comes to food, the cook prepares very nutritious meals with enough for a serving size for a child. The teachers say there is even enough for 2nds if the children are still hungry! I personally love Primrose Schools of Cool Springs and think very highly of the director. She is such a sweet and caring woman and always greets you with a smile and hello! Along with the other office staff. You can really tell that everyone there enjoys their jobs and are wonderful with children! I'd definitely suggest checking out the school and if you have any concerns with the so called "abuse"... talk to one of the wonderful women in the office and once you meet the director, you will see why I love Primrose so much! I give it 5 stars! :) (And did I mention that my child has learned so many things and I'm very pleased with his progress!!!)

Pros: Great education and Staff

Cons: My child is bored on the weekends!

There is not a better preschool on this planet! No other schools can hold a candle to the quality of care children receive at Primrose. "Regretful Mom" is clearly one of the parents who does not care for her child properly at home and has no idea what REALLY EXCELLENT childcare looks like! She clearly misunderstood situations that she claims to have witnessed, or made them up out of anger toward the staff of Primrose. What probably really took place? Because she does not know how to care for her own child he is probably very difficult, was a danger to the staff and other children, and got kicked out. Now she is taking cheap shots at a quality school to try and cover her own failure as a parent. As a private child care provider I have seen this a million times, parents don't know how to say NO to their child making them into little demons no one can deal with, especially them. Then they play the "blame game" so they feel better about themselves. WAKE UP PEOPLE! Learn to say no, make rules, and have proper punishments for you child. Oh yes, and stop letting the tv raise your child, that will come back to haunt you. Primrose is the best of the best, any children who go there get the best care there is out there today! They strive to teach proper values, manners, and the difference between right and wrong every day. Primrose staff is the most caring and hard working staff I have ever met. They should all get medals for their hard work and patience!

Pros: Too many to list!!!

Cons: I can't think of any.....

Let me just start by saying that I am not a parent but a professional childcare provider... I have worked in many different preschools in my career and Primrose is by far the best there is ... Other places that I have worked never asked for the kind of excellence that they do. The owner is a kind and professional woman who understands the needs of parents since she is one herself and the director who was promoted is the BEST that a preschool could ask for. I'm no longer in the preschool industry but, I do nanny and anytime a client asks me where they should send their child I ALWAYS tell them that the very best is Primrose and that's the only place I would ever send my children to. The curriculum is one that succeeds at children getting the quality education that they deserve. Again, I have worked at the other places and I have yet to see one that even remotely holds a candle to what this place has to offer. And last but not least I can not express strongly enough that they are not , ARE NOT, abusers! The office staff, as well as the teachers, love the children there and take the time to learn each and everyone's name as well as the parent's. Again, I have experienced the kind of preschool where their main concern is making the profit and this is not the case at all at Primrose. They work diligently to be advocates for the children's needs and thrive to provide excellence. Yes, there may be a high turnover rate from time to time but this is the case at all preschools and they hire more than just warm bodies like the other places, they hire family and will do everything they can to make their staff happy. This is the key to running the very best preschool and they make sure to achieve it. I hope this helps and believe me when I say that the perspective of an old employee is just as important as a parents. I love this preschool and it has such a big place in my heart and I'll back them up until I am blue in the face. Thanks

Pros: You will never find a better place to send your children to!

Cons: none!

Please do not make the same mistake I did and send your child to this school! The woman that owns this school is horrible! She comes in once a month for her checks and is completely nasty to the children and parents. My child had to endure 5 teachers in less than one years time. Each one with less experience and each one with a worse attitude. The children were forced to run laps around the playground as punishment for not being still during naps on paper thin cots that were more than two hours. Additional punishments would be not taking part in birthday parties and having to sit and watch. I walked in unannounced and HEARD my son's teacher call him dumb! An office worker dragged a child down the hall by his arm so hard and fast he ran into a projection cart causing a pressure cut to his head. That office worker has now been promoted to the Director of Primrose Cool Springs. As God as my witness I am not the same person that made the previous comment. The year my son attended several parents took their children and walked out of the school due to physical and verbal abuse issues. My son had fingerprint bruises on his arms from the lady that now parks her behind in the Directors chair at Primrose. They are uneducated ABUSERS! BEWARE!!!!!!

Pros: none

Cons: too many to list here

As a parent I can only tell you keep your childern away from this place. My now 6 year old still talks about how mean the teachers were at Primrose ! One night, at 4 years old, he actually would talk in his sleep yelling, "no, no please, I am sorry!" We found out later that he had been vilonently pulled up by the arm and dragged to the "office" at three years old! In our attempts to address the situation we were given the attitude of "if you don't like it leave, there is a waiting for your spot" This is a day care level at best, but they do a great sales job on you acting like it is some type of advanced academy. Let me assure you it is not! From the owners (its a franchise), to the "teachers" that place is the worst. My little boy had 5 teachers in just 4 months! Once we learned how poorly they actually treat the childern we wanted to contact other parents in my son's class just to make sure it was not an isolated situation. They said that the company policy was not to give parent contact information, or even a list of classroom contact list! That we found out later was so that you could not easily discuss with other parents, to prevent "problems for the ownership." Schools like this are not under the same tight reporting standards that primary schools are under so they don't have too, and this school won't share anything. The are extremely difficult unless you simply, drop off your kid, drop off your check, pick up your kid and don't say a word. They act like they are doing you a favor! If ever want to talk about , what is my child learning this week, his he on task.. etc we never got credible information. All in all just try hard to find another place, that time in a child's life develops so many attitudes toward school. Don't let this place set a negative tone for the future. Also the lunches they serve the kids is terrible, he was always starving when we picked him up.

Pros: You don't have to send your child

Cons: We did
