I'm staying at the Sheraton in Downtown Nashville and walk to the corner where I see a hair salon. I walk in and the people are friendly as can be... but, the best part is- I got one of the best haircuts of my life (which is saying a lot because I'm a guy with wavy, thinning hair- not exactly easy to work with). If I lived in TN, this would be my spot for a haircut.

Pros: great cut

Cons: there are none!

Plush is the bomb!!! Troy Lynn and Marci are the best in town!!! Troy Lynn has been cutting and coloring my hair for years.. She is the only one I know who can make blondish red hair come alive!!! They are the best in town..

I recently went to TroyLynn at Plush to get my hair cut and dyed. When I got there, I had absolutely no idea what I wanted done, but I searched through their magazines and I picked out two pictures- of two completely different hairstyles- and asked her to mix the hair styles. The cut is perfect! The dye job is more than I could have ever asked for with the right amount of dark and light. I feel like a completely different person. The studio is neat and clean and very Plush. I will continue using TroyLynn as my hairstylist. I went in reluctant and unsure, and left not only with the best hair in Nashville, but feeling like family.

After just one visit to Plush I am hooked. Marci is everything the other reviewers here said she was and MORE! She listened to what I wanted as far as cut and color and executed EXACTLY what I asked for; even better. The salon atmosphere is relaxing and very friendly. I felt like I had been going there for years! If you are in need of an awesome stylist, a kick butt colorist and a relaxing salon atmosphere then Plush is for you and Marci is your girl. :)

Pros: Excellent service, friendly atmosphere, price is very reasonable

Cons: Parking could be better

After moving here from out of town I was not looking forward to finding a new stylist. In fact, I told my husband that I would be looking for e-savers to fly back to get my hair cut and colored by my usual stylist in Charlotte. While driving in downtown Nashville I spotted the salon and checked out the reviews and made an appointment for husband (one always needs a guinea pig). His hair has never looked better. I just had my first appt and Marcie was great -- the cut is perfect. I have been getting compliments all morning.

Marci did an incredible job on my hair. I've never had anyone else actually listen to how I wanted my hair and then follow through and give me exactly what I wanted, haircut and color. Everyone was friendly and open. They were very professional but not snobby. It was an overall great experience and great value. By the way I drove for an hour to get here and it was sooo worth it. Thanks Marci!!!

MARCI AND TROYLYNN ARE THE BEST HAIRSTYLISTS IN NASHVILLE. I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR 50 YEARS AND THESE ARE THE ONLY HAIRSTYLISTS WHO HAVE EVER MADE ME FEEL WELCOME AND HAVE MADE MY HAIR ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. MARCI ALWAYS MAKES THE HAIRCUT AND THE COLOR PERFECT. SHE LETS ME EXPERIMENT AND EVERY EXPERIMENT IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE IS DOING AND MAKES "NO" MISTAKES. My friend, Marissa, and I took a chance one day. We made appointments at Plush while only knowing what the reviews told us about it. Are we glad we did! I have beautiful hair because of Marcy's skills. The hair color and highlights she uses on me are very natural looking and so complimentary. My friend, Marissa, had never had any color whatsoever put in her hair. Troy Lynn put beautiful subtle hightlights in which made her pretty brown hair come alive. I have seen both Marcie and Troy Lynn work their "magic" with others. I have seen transformations. I have seen clients come and go who continue to be satisfied with the service they get at Plush. I consider them both jewels amongst the very best Nashville has to offer.

I have been going to plush for 2 years, Marcie and Troylynn have both done my hair, and they are awesome. I think they can read minds, cause they always know exactly what I want every time. They did my hair and make up for my wedding, they came in at 6am on a Sat. to take care of me on my most important day. I look at my wedding photo's and see how beautiful I ways. I love going there, it is a great atmosphere, great coversation and they treat you like old friends. The salon is cute and very hip! You will enjoy your experience there. Thank you very much Marcie and Troylynn!!!

Marci did GREAT job with my color and I have had so many compliments. I wasn't sure what would look best, but she came up with a great combination of high lights and low lights and I couldn't be happier about the way it tunred out. Also great is that I can get a late appointment there, so I don't have to worry about taking time off of work! I got a compllicated cut, and she offered to do a "follow up" clean up of it later in the week if I needed it. Thanks Marci. You did a great job!

Pros: amazing color, late appointments

Cons: atmosphere is too lax, parking scary in p.m.
