I called about a job that was posted by them on careerbuilder. After 2 seconds of talking to me the lady told me, very rudely, that I was unqualified for this job. Fine, ok. She then asked me to send her my resume. I did so with hopes of being called or emailed back with a next step in the job hunting process. Nothing..... that was 2 weeks ago and I have yet to hear back from Gwen at the Hadden Group. Although I do not feel as bad now after reading the other reviews. I'm now glad that I have not been contacted! If you want to be told your inferior and then never hear back from them, then this is the place for you.
Cons: very unfriendly staff

They found a Great Job for a friend of mine so great in fact that her representative took the position right out from underneath her. While tellin her how great they thought she was. I have no problem with someone leaving the Hadden group for another company, but she should have passed my friends file on to someone else and made the process at least fair. They did the most unethical thing I could ever imagine. I would not EVER use this establishment for services.
Cons: No Ethics

TERRIBLE! These "professionals" treated me as though I was an infant with no experience whatsoever. The women act like they run a sorority house instead of a staffing business acting too-good and never returning your phone calls. Don't waste your time.
Cons: Rude and unproffesional staff.

I am an Executive and went through this company. I was not placed nor even called back. They only want to place you with no conversations, nor meetings to even get to know the person on paper. You will be very lucky if you find a position through this group. If being treated poorly, enjoying no responses via email or phone, or feeling like this company will not help as they advertise, then the Hadden Group is who you should consult with.

These recruiters will not work with you if you are out of state. I was actually yelled at and hung up on. When I did make it in for an interview of sorts--a quick 5 minutes and I was brushed off--NEVER to be contacted again. I've left two voicemails and sent two emails...it's been a over a week...still nothing.
Pros: Wide variety of jobs
Cons: The staff is very hard to deal with

If you are looking for an agency that cares more about placing you in the best fit possible than their own fee, look elsewhere. A good recruiter will try to build up your confidence or tells you what you can do to tweak your resume, not undermine you when you need their help. This is an agency with high maintenance egos, high recruiter turnover, and while the jobs look polished and just what you need, they will make you feel as though even though you don't measure up, they will still try to make a halfhearted effort. Save yourself some time and try to find an agency with heart.
Pros: Good variety of jobs
Cons: The staff acts as if you are a hindrance to their reputation
