I went 2 weeks ago and got a facial. i scheduled an appointment for the specific facial as stated in the brochure. I went and got the 60 minute $75 facial and was slightly satisfied. After the session i went to the reception desk and told her I wanted to make an appointment for 2 weeks for the same facial. I went back today and nstead of the one i wanted, i got a 30 minute facial for $75. I complained about it not being what I wanted and even pointed it out in the brochure. The receptionist was arguing with me and saying I must have told her the wrong thing when I initially made the appoinment. I was not going to keep arguing with her. I am not an idiot, I know what I asked for. Instead of making it right she argued with me and was trying to make excuses. I will not go back and I will tell everyone I know that it is a very unorganized place. Small business make it because of word of mouth, u need to try to keep your customers happy and if u make a mistake, make it right and dont argue. I am highly irritated and very mad that I had to pay for something I did not want. Do not go there of if u do beware.

So, I thought I'd give this place a shot since the reviews were so great. From the moment I walked in,I did not have a good feeling. They looked scared to see me. The younger woman did a great job on the older woman she was working on,but my stylist did not listen. I have longer hair and wanted to keep it that way since my wedding is in two months and I need longer hair for the wedding updo I want. I showed her pictures,I explained in detail what I wanted..which was just a trim!Well,she took my hair above my shoulders and gave me botched bangs that actually start at the back of my head(but only on one side) I just wanted a trim!!! Just a centimeter off! Now it's uneven,layered unevenly and too short to have it the way I want it for my wedding. I'm not the type of person to say I don't like it,but I should have. She noticed it was horrible,too and told me that I'd just get used to it! And I didn't even get fifteen percent off as a new client! So sad :( . $40 for a horrible haircut is not worth it. Beware!!!

Pros: well,I liked the decor of the place?

Cons: everything else..

I have been to Studio 201 twice. Brandy has cut my hair both times. I have been extremely pleased with the entire experience both times. My hair is extremely thick and difficult to cut.... especially in the short cuts that I often desire. The receptionist spent a shocking amount of time on the phone with me during my first call to Studio 201; she listened to my concerns and told me about the salon and the stylists there. Brandy took her time with my cut and the massive amount of thinning that my hair requires. My cut was not to my total satisfaction the second visit as a result of my lack of specifications (prior to) and inspection (after). Once I got home and realized that I wasn't totally happy with my new do I called to see about getting it fixed. They got my right back in and Brandy worked her magic, sending me away happy as could be. These ladies are great, I would recommend them to anyone!!

My husband and I just moved here and of course one of my worries was to find a new salon. Since I'm new I did a search for a salon. Based on the reviews I decided to give them a shot. Receptionist was so helpful when I called and even gave me directions. I walked in and I felt right at home. They were quick to offer me soda/water, a cozy spot to wait and a nice chat with the owner. Paty was my stylist and did such a wonderful job! My color turned out beautiful as well as my new cut. When I went back to work I received so many compliments on my new look and the hubby liked it too! Thank you, I'll see you back in six weeks!

Pros: Friendly people, Great Results, Nice artwork

My wife went to this salon, since it's close to our home, and the service was horrible. Paty, not sure how to spell this individual's name, was the stylist with absolutely no style or manners. Her hair was a mess, he rattitude was lousy and she treated my wife like she was inconveniencing her. After tossing my wife's earrings and her phone onto the counter, Paty told my wife to stand. Paty then proceeded to sit in the chair and told my wife she would cut her hair while my wife stood. Now, this is something I've never heard of. My wife is 5 month's pregnant, yet this girl had no consideration for my wife's health. My wife protested, and Paty said that's the way she cuts hair. She also refused to have my wife's hair washed before she cut it, stating she washed the hair after it is cut. Fortunately, my wife walked out before this beast touched her hair. People of Nashville and Hermitage, beware of this Salon, if you value your hair!!!

I needed to color my roots fast and as usual waited to the last minute. Called them on a Saturday and they not only got me an appointment. that day but also gave me a 1st time customer discount. I love the color/cut and the stylist was professional and personable. Everyone was so friendly I felt I had known them for quite a while by the time I left The owner was there and she is a sweetie pie. I will definitely go back.

Guyneedingahaircut--Lindsey cuts my hair too, she went to Indulgence. If you can't find her let Kevin at 201 cut it.

I was a client of Lindsey's but understand she has left 201. I like the salon so am willing to still stick with it. Can anyone out there recommend another female stylist at 201 that is good with men's haircuts? 'At the risk of sounding like a typical male pig, I will also add the following preference - I prefer a stylist that looks hot in addition to having the skill to give a great haircut. :) Thanks!

I'm shocked that someone would have anything bad to say about Studio 201:( I've been to the salon on plenty different occassions to get my hair done, buy hair stuff, and to get my much needed massages, and I have always been received with an upbeat attitude! I enjoy the staff and the services I receive! I guess it really just comes down to personal preference and I prefer to go to a no drama, fun salon, where people know what they're doing! The only problem I've run into is that one of the stylists who no longer works there took my hair color formula with them! Bummer:( But the upside is: Brandy (new stylist) matched my color effortlessly! That speaks highly to me!!
