I took a couple of local Nashville professional women to dinner at Park Cafe last year and loved the food, ambiance, privacy (several rooms) and charm. I had a heck of a time trying to locate it again but one of the ladies reminded me of the name. I'm planning to take 15 guests in a few weeks for dinner when I return to Nashville. Special but not pretenious. Interesting art work on the walls. had dinner again and it was still wonderful. planning to host another business dinner in September.

Pros: Food, Ambience, Charm

Cons: Hard to find

Went when it first opened and it was fabulous, back again two years ago and enjoyed it even more. Went a couple of months ago and found it quite disappointing. Service was poor and food was only adequate. Success has apparently spoiled the quality of food and service. Probably won't go back. We were lost in the crowd.

Pros: Neat out of the way place. Was once outstanding.

Cons: Too busy for servers attention, only valet parking, average food quality.

Great food, great wine from a date night to a business dinner. The menu is seasonal so all the ingredients are sure to be the freshest. Parking is a bit of a pain but they tend to make it work.

Pros: food, ambiance

Cons: parking

Went with a group of 5 on a weekend night and was seated about 10 minutes after our reservation (but likely only because one member of our group called in advance and said we would not be amenable to waiting 30 minutes for our reservation like last time.) After we were seated our waiter Joseph came over, but with another hostess (or waitress) who wanted to inform us that Joseph was GREAT but new. This should have been our warning. Our food was wonderful, but dinner took over 2 1/2 hrs. Joseph apologized when ours drinks took too long, apologized when one dish was sent back (described as "tuna sashimi" but the tuna was heavily seared) and took 30+ minutes, apologized when our checks took forever. This restaurant gets the business and is so busy because of the food, not necessarily because they handle the volume well. Try Park Cafe, but leave a lot of time for your meal!

Pros: great food, nice atmosphere

Cons: service

My husband and I wanted to try Park Cafe, and we were pleased with our experience overall. I will say that it is Eclectic, a littled crowded, and you really need reservations. The food is so good, though. This is a Nashville Restaraunt that you should try. I would not go for a romantic dinner, though; it is a bit loud and tables are close together. However, the cuisine is fabulous!

Pros: fabulous food and menu

Cons: crowded atmosphere

We have intended to try Park Cafe for a looooong time but we've just never gotten around to it, so we decided to go for New Year's Eve. We had such an AMAZING dinner. The service was wonderful, the food was great, the atmosphere was just perfect for NYE. We are both huge foodies and are pretty hard to please, but this place really hits the spot. We agreed it was the best meal we've had since we returned from Paris about this time last year. A terrific place to sit and linger over dinner. The Mongolian Beef appetizer is to-die-for!!! Everything was good, but that really stood out. My only complaint: a single stall women's restroom, which made for some pretty long lines on such a busy night.

Pros: great atmosphere, staff who knows how to let you linger over dinner

Cons: single stall women's bathroom

Don't gorge yourself on the bread before the meal, you will ruin a fantastic dinner! The atmoshpere is awesome and the food preparation, and presentation is tops. I like to get there a little early to sit at or near the bar to wait. The personel and clientelle are worth watching, very professional and classy. Did I mention the food is to die for.

Pros: The Menu is Fabulous

Cons: Must have reservations!

Park Cafe is ALWAYS fabulous! A few months ago, I was disappointed that the scallop and gnocchi dish was taken off the menu, but my new favorite is the scallop and pasta stuffed zucchini dish! Absolutely superb! Of course, the baby spinach salad and the chocolate molten cake are a must on EVERY visit regardless of the entree choice! The service is excellent and the ambiance, perfect! Whether you are looking for a nice dinner out or a place to celebrate a special occasion, Park Cafe is certainly the place to go! In addition, the wine list offers a unique listing of new and familiar wines. I have also appreciated through the years how management generously gives to the community.

Park Cafe is my favorite restaurant in town. The food is always wonderful as is the service. I highly recommend the tenderloin tail...and all of their apps. It is a nice romantic place to dine.
