Great atmosphere
by torymk
This is my husband and I's go to place for special occasions. The scenery is great. The food is really good and the service is first rate. The best thing is their brunch which is fantastic. Especially the cheese blintz.
- Pros: Atmosphere, brunch, service
- Cons: Parking, mixed dress code
An oasis of authentic Italian cuisine found in the Garden Conservatory at Opryland.

In Short
Get lost in the atrium jungle at the Opryland Hotel and find yourself at a serene Italian oasis. Dine with Nashville visitors with deep pockets and plenty of calories to spare. The philosophy: More is better. Lobster and sweet-corn ravioli swim in butter, and the hazelnut-crusted chicken breast with pumpkin gnocchi drown in sweet, thick currant and fig sauce. Come up for air with the sea bass in a well-seasoned light broth.
An Awesome Experience

The entire experience was incredible. The food was awesome and the service was too. We will be returning soon!
A good value for business entertaining
by motleytom
I took some business associates to the Opryland Hotel as a sight-seeing venture and we ended up dining at Volare. I must say the menu variety is excellent -there's something for everyone.
This place pretends to be much more up-scale than it really is, so it's a bargain when you compare the pricing and experience to other establishments. Our server must have dropped out of acting school. He made several faux-pas during our meal and his "Italian accent" became less dramatic each time he returend. He had somehow lost his accent by the time we paid our check we even got a "thanks for eating with us ya'll".
A wine list was not presented with the menu.
- Pros: Atmosphere, Menu selection
- Cons: $10 parking
Thanks to this chain, everyone can enjoy chunky, funky ice cream with a clear conscience.

The Scene
It's not just about the ice cream. Ben and Jerry, two childhood friends from Vermont, built their empire on a great product laced with social awareness. Sit in this scoop shop, grab an unbleached napkin and gaze at the murals depicting hormone-free cows munching in green, organic pastures. While you're there, pick up literature supporting some local environmental causes.
The Food
What a difference pure, delicious ingredients can make. Favors include Chunky Monkey, Phish Food, Cherry Garcia and New York Super Fudge Chunk, just to name a few. Decadent sundaes swim in real hot fudge topped with fresh, homemade whipped cream. Cookies, brownies and waffle cones are lovingly baked each day in-house. For the light-at-heart, there are sorbet splashes--refreshing, fat-free fruit slushies.
Not really convenient
by joebrady
In my opinion Ben and Jerry's is the best ice cream around. If I was at the Opryland Hotel I would make a point of going by Ben and Jerry's. However, Donelson is my side of town and even though I love sweets I am not about to fight with getting to Ben and Jerry's when I can buy it at Kroger.
- Pros: It's Ben and Jerry's
- Cons: Inconvenient, Crowded, Bad parking
Fantastic

The best ice cream anywhere. I have been waiting to eat at Ben and Jerry's in Nashville. It is finally here!
