The Delta gives everything that you expect out of private health club. Not crowded, educated trainers, and friendly staff.
Pros: Private club, great trainers and staff
Cons: Usual Green Hills traffic

First impressions last! The Childcare staff is excellent, very friendly and make me feel comfortable leavig my kids! I do a lot of outside cycling, and I have been taking some morning Spinclases. The different instructors are very energetic and very knowlageble.hese classes have great energy as well as the strenght classes I attended. I have taking many classes elsewhere but I got so much more out of these! THe gym and lockerrooms are clean and neat . pro great childcare, great classes, not overcrowded, friendly instructors.

I ride outside during the nice weather and in the cold months take my workout indoors. I went to the spin classes here and it seems like they only have one main teacher, Lisa. She is nice but her class is boring, her music is boring and she doesnt really instruct. I noticed she didnt really do much except smile but Im sure she was hired just to be a body that shows up. Moving here from California 5 years ago I have yet to find teachers that can compare to the teachers in California. The gym is small and the people seem snobby. Green Hills is an upscale area, but I think the area deserves a better gym like Golds or at least some spinning instructors who are more than vapid robots.
Pros: In the center of town
Cons: spin classes , small gym.

I'm usually scared of health clubs, but the staff at the Delta is so great and made me feel comfortable from day one. They have excellent day care and great personal trainers. I actually look forward this personal time. I look and feel great. I could not give a health club a higher recommendation!
Pros: Personal Trainers, Staff, and Childcare
Cons: No childcare on Sundays

As a member for more than six years, I find this club the best in Nashville. For the creep who bashed the facility, he (who claims to have left the gym - note - he was there on Sunday 2/10 working out) rudely interrupted our yoga class and rather than apologize when called to his attention, he acted like a spoiled child - yelling at the instructor and slamming the door on the entire class. I recommend disregarding his individual's opinion -- unless you respect rude, bratty, lying jerks. The Delta provides a high quality setting with attentive, qualified staff /trainers. For those who would like a mature environment without children running amuck, this is the perfect place. Despite the fact that the parking lot can be intimidating as it is typically filled with the nicest cars on the road, I feel that anyone who takes a look will be very impressed -- from the locker rooms all the way to the yoga instructors!
Pros: Atmosphere, Staff, Starbucks Machine
Cons: Movie goers tend to space out in the parking garage when you're driving to the top

I just had a baby and needed help losing the more than normal baby weight. I saw a billboard for the Delta. With the help of their BOOT program I have lost more weight than I had hoped. They are very friendly and have great childcare. I really appreciate everything this club has done for me.
Pros: Guaranteed weight loss, friendly staff, and location
Cons: Driving to the top of parking garage

Be prepared to overpay for rude treatment, particularly from the yoga instructors. Prices are 2-3x those of comparable gyms in the area. It is also a smaller gym, with worse hours from others in the area. The equipment is minimal, the employees are snobby, and there are several things (rowing machine, more freeweights, etc) that are lacking. Other alternatives, such as the nashville athletic club (NAC), the soon-to-open gold's gym, and other gyms in the area provide better service, longer hours, more equipment, and more space. I was a member for three years and was always generally dissatisfied, but too lazy to cancel and find a new gym. After being treated EXTREMELY poorly and rudely by a yoga instructor there on several occasions, and am now a happy member of another gym.
Pros: Location
Cons: Rude treatment, small, crowded, short hours, snobby, expensive. Join a different gym!

For years I have wanted to do something for myself, but not just for my appearance, also for my self confidence. A few months at the Delta and they have given me a new body and state of mind. I not only look great, but have the knowledge of how to keep my body. Thank you Delta!!!!
Pros: Coaching, Great People, Comfortable Atmosphere
Cons: None

I joined this gym right after my first child was born, and it has been a lifesaver! In just six months, I have lost all plus a few more pounds of my baby weight and gained a few friends along the way. Great equipment...never too crowded and wonderful childcare while you work out starting at 6 weeks old! I highly recommend this facility. You feel as if you are in a private atmosphere, which is nice. The fitness classes are really good too.
Pros: Great instructors, wonderful childcare, good equipment, clean, nice locker rooms
Cons: Joining fee is a little steep, smoothies are not as good as SmoothMoves and pricey concessions

At first I was nervous because I hadn't been in a gym in over 8 years. I have had two children but have not been able to give up the extra 32 lbs. of baby weight. I needed help and direction fast! My first day at the Delta was like a new world had opened up to me. My children were close by in the day care center and I was off and running. My trainer (and now friend) made me feel like I was at home; comfortable, relaxed and safe. It has been 7 months since my first day at the Delta and I have lost 27 lbs. and am keeping it off!! Not only have I lost but I have gained a new life style and body that I am so proud of! I absolutely reccomend the Delta City Club to anyone! It will change your life.
Pros: Training and Customer Service
Cons: They always run out of skim creamer for the Starbucks and the traffic in Green Hills!
