Great Place for karaoke and very "Nashville"!

Lonnie's is a great place to go while visiting Nashville. You can go in and sing a few tunes, or just listen to the girls that host the karaoke, they are all very good. Don't go there hungry though, no food, just drinks and some snacks. Very comfortable feeling too. Out of towners won't feel like they don't belong.

• Pros: Great karaoke, good host singers, great atmosphere
• Cons: Location is a little shady. Strip club next door.

The Place to go in Nashville

There is not enough to say about Lonnie's. I have been going there for years and although I am not a big fan of the weekend large crowds, it is perfect for me on most any weeknight. Friendly and "family-like"...my sister and I closed it down a few years back (and a few times since) and Lonnie made a pan of brownies that he shared before sending us on our way!!

This karaoke bar is as gritty and authentic as Nashville gets.

For some, Lonnie's is the heart and soul of Nashville. Caked in memorabilia and photographs, the walls are a living scrapbook of Nashville's glorious past and prosperous present as the home of country music. The infectious atmosphere, along with a few buckets of cold beer, always pull the regulars and first-timers out of the worn red booths and on stage to discover whether they sound as good as they think they do.

Fun filled place but it can get a little out of hand. Make sure you go with a group of friends if you go late. You will have a great time!

I did not want the night to end here! Friendly cowboys, bartender, doorman. Everyone in the place was very cool, in a southern, y'all way!!

Wow

You gotta go. Plain and simple. If you can handle a big crowd, a little heat, and loud music, head there for sure. If not, try it anyways just for a few minutes. This place might be the most enjoyable way to end a night in Nashville....just bring some cash for a cab! A heck of a bar.

If you like a good ol' rowdy time, Lonnie's is the place to be. The Western Room has great singers that have a good time on stage, but don't expect full-fledged karaoke here. They let the occasional audience member up, but the wait is usually long. Lonnie's always has cold beer and great service. There's convenient parking, and a hotel right across the street if you can't make it home. You'll also always find taxi and limo service sitting right outside. So if you like it loud, head down to the alley, and you're sure to have a good time!

Tourist Trap

The place is aweful. All you can do is sit down and listen to karaoke. It's definitely not a social environment. It is pretty much a tourist trap.
