Boots and Country music
by New2Nashville
The home for traditional country music! Here you can listen to great live music the entire week. This is the place where you will really have fun while enjoying a cold beer. This place is really charming. Don't miss their huge selection of boots on the walls.
- Pros: music & drinks
Great music and clean air
by PDXPLT
Great place; some business colleagues and I closed the place every night when we were in town awhile back. No way we would have spent any time in there if it hadn't been nonsmoking. We spent alot of money; mostly on beer. Nonsmokers make more money than smokers and spend more; that's just a fact.
- Pros: nonsmoking
- Cons: a little crowded
Great entertainment
by glen1953
We always stop at Robert's whenever we come to visit. Their entertainment is always top notch. The old style county music they play is great to listen to. The burgers are great for the price. The staff is always friendly and accomodating. Our main complaint is that you can no longer smoke. This is an adult place, and should cater to those of us who smoke. We stayed for only one set, where we used to stay for hours.I even spoke to the bartender who said business was down since they don't allow smoking anymore. That should tell the owners something. Look at your books and compare to what you used to have. Us smokers spend more money and stay longer. That's the bottom line. Sorry to all you non smokers, but facts are facts. Those of us who smoke spend more money.
We love the place, but won;t stay for long. We hope you'll go back to smoking.
10pm show
by Tanmilang
I heard that the band playing at 10 pm had a great mix of old and new danceable tunes. And they're friendly and appreciative of the crowd. Some old timers in there to really add an authentic air to the music.
- Pros: Comfortable seating, Jesse's band @ 10pm
great

Robert's is the best! I especially enjoyed The Don Kelley Band. I love the way they infuse new life into old tonk classics. JD has got to be the best guitar player on Lower Broad. The rhythm section kicks butt, and i dug the way Don kept things moving with little or no down time between songs, and what a great classic country singer. I found the vibe to be warm and cool, and Gail and the other girls were friendly and nice.
Tired songs
by arizonamurphey
I've been in this bar a few times, but the band plays the same songs every time. The songs are the same and the order is the same. D Kelly Band was rude to people who were paying customers. What's up with that?
- Pros: It's free
- Cons: folk music
best local talent and food.
by rgalbo
Roberts was fantastic. I had the best time there. Scott Icenogle and the A-11 band are awesome and I can't wait to go back there. I urge anyone in the Nashville area, or tourist to go to Roberts for the best burgers and local talent there is. I can't wait to go back.
- Pros: food and talent
- Cons: parking
Best burgers and most friendly bartenders
by pahmrh
Our bartender was a peach. Very nice to talk to great suggestions on how to get around town and find points of interest. Her name was Crystal and because of her we returned a second night while visiting Nashville. As a hot dog fanatic she suggested places to try and I returned and gave her my taste survey of I Dream of (hot dog word that sounds like teeny but it won't let me submit it) in East Nashville and the Hot Diggity Dog on Ewing. She was an asset to Roberts Western World. They also had a couple of the best bands on Broadway. Crystal it was nice to meet you.
- Pros: Great inexpensive food
- Cons: Loud on Wednesday but good
Best Live Music On The Strip
by wolfegirl
It doesn't matter if you go on a weekday or weekend night, the live music doesn't dissapoint. Parking can be a pain if there is a special event, but do not let that keep you away. Robert's has the best bugers too. Scott Icenogle must play there everyday, and rightly so because he has an outstanding voice and a very diverse showcase. Dress up, dress down, just get on over there!
- Pros: Great live music, burgers, atmosphere
- Cons: Parking, crowded on weekends
Awesome Music
by charlesbab
Thank God some things don't change. I went with a group of friends, and after making our way down a very changed Broadway, we felt at ease at Roberts. What has happened to Nashville? Broadway is now getting the giant, Money driven, Corporate style places ruining the downtown like every other American city.
- Pros: Greatt Music
- Cons: Slightly warm Beer
