This is in reply to moondancers29. first of all...learn to spell. Ok I agree no cell phones should be allowed on in the theater and if someone wears a hat they should take it off if it is blocking the view of someone behind them. as to the children and babies...do you not have kids?? A child's bedtime is up to the parents not strangers. If a child wakes up later in the morning and simply wont sleep till late at night, it is not the parents fault. They have just as much right to go to the movies as anyone else. Yes if the baby is screaming take them out but as for bed times personally my baby wont go to sleep till ten even though i try to get her ready by 7. So i dont appreciate your comment on how young parents dont know what a bedtime is. I'm not going to put my baby down at 7 when she isnt ready and listen to her scream all night. if babies bother you that much dont leave your house.

Pros: imax theaters

Cons: high ticket and concession prices

I do enjoy going to this theater . The restroomas are always clean and tidy . The consesson stand is a bit over crouded and over priced. I supose there moto is where else are you going to get it so lets over charge for it. LOL Although , each movie I go into the seating is mostly empty . I do get there early . ;-) I try to get a late show so no small children/babies will be in the theater. Young parents these days have no clue what bed time is. Nor do they know what walk out if you child is yelling its head off. The cell phones are just as bad. Always someone talking on one telling ther bud that they are watching a movie and then giving take by take of the movie. I am almost certin there is a special place in.... well you know for those people . THen there is the ones who wear the hats biger than they are maks you just want to crown them with your popcorn buckett. LOL The seating is somewhat comfy. I have noticed that some of the theaters mostly on the right side needs a bit more legg room in them. Other than that all is well. Always get a great show and try my best to pay no attion to the anoying people. Everyone has there own little dislikes.

Pros: Parking on the side is always with ease.

Cons: Walking through clouds of smoke to get into the do

Although this theatre has huge theatres and great sound, the selection of movies could use some expansion. Also, every movie I go to always has people in the theatre that won't shut up, it is extremely annoying. Management does nothing to enforce this rule so you just end up shushing ignorant people who shouldn't go to movies in public until they learn how to act like adults. The concession stand is very pricey and takes usually 10 minutes or longer to get through.

Pros: big theatres, great sound

Cons: bad management, high prices, lots of talking

When it comes to facilities, movie choice, and technical quality, this theater is about as good as it gets in Nashville. But there are a few needs that, if addressed, would greatly improve the overall theater experience. First, the concession area is too crowded. It sometimes takes 25-30 minutes to get through the line. This is longer than it takes at Titans games. Secondly, on weekend evening (when I am most likely to see a movie), the area outside the theater, especially the outside entrance to the mall near the theater's entrance, is a little seedy with teens loitering, smoking, and loudly using foul language. The last issue is a problem I see at nearly all theaters. They need someone to enforce proper theater etiquette (since people dont seem to take the responsibility themselves). Rarely do I go to the movies without being disturbed by cell phones, talking patrons, etc.

Pros: Movie Selection, Comfort, Audio & Video Quality

Cons: Concessions crowded, Outside Environment

Opry Mills is my favorite theatre to go to. The facilities are excellent! And, you can get there plenty early & walk the mall or hang out at Jillians!

Pros: Preshow entertainment

Cons: Parking

This is a great theater, one of the nicest around, but to buy a ticket for an r-rated film they require every piece of identification available. I felt that a college picture id would tell the ticket-seller that I was of age for the movie, but they would not accept it. I think that is a little overboard when it comes to stopping minor. I am a junior in college, surely I can handle an R-rated movie. Other than that I have no complaints, I visit at least once a month and really enjoy the theater and atomsphere.

Pros: Student-discount, good selection, centrally located

Cons: ticket-buying sucks, bring plenty of ID

Almost a year ago, I visited this theatre for the first time. It was not at all what I expected! The seats were extremely comfortable, and there were more than enough of them. The temperature is kept very comfortable, and the staff is all friendly. I went in one afternoon and the theatre seemed a little hot and stuffy so we notified someone on the staff. Within 5 minutes the temperature started to lower and become more comfortable. It's nice to find that kind of service these days.
