In Short
Decorated with family photos of founders Damian Mandola and Johnny Carrabba, the open dining rooms pack groups of friends and extended families into four- and six-person tables and booths; smaller parties or couples can grab stools at the open kitchen's adjoining bar to watch chefs make dinner. The traditional southern Italian menu offers grill specialties like steak Marsala and fire-roasted chicken breast with sun-dried tomatoes; pasta dishes include fettuccine Alfredo and garlic-sauteed shrimp with linguine.

I think that EVERY other Carrabba's in America is better than this one. A real Carrabba's has an amazing Caesar salad, which isn't even on the menu here. My wife ordered one without looking at the menu, and the waiter brought out a house salad, perhaps thinking she woudln't notice. We were charged for it, too. I say, "Shenannegans!" I also noticed that the prices are a few dollars higher. It may be worth the drive to ANY other Carrabba's. It's a shame that this IMPOSTER is so close to my home. And don't give me that nonsense about this being the first Carrabba's. I don't care if it is. Should I feel privileged to order from a limited menu and pay more just because this restaurant spawned restaurants with the same name that are actually pleasant?

Went to Carrabba's a couple of Sundays ago with my 16 yr old daughter. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated. Once we got to the table we shared calamari for the appetizer. For entrees, we had fettucine alfredo and osso buco. I have been coming to the Kirby locstion since it first opened, and had a great time as always. Only complaint is that the everything keeps getting spicier as the years go by, sort of like Molina's. I mean don't fix what ain't broke.
Pros: Atmosphere
Cons: getting a little spicy
