Wonderful Staff and Excellent Place to buy a Wedding Gown. Glitz Bridal is a locally-owned store in Bellevue. I had my second bridal appointment ever, at this salon, and I was immediately treated like family. The staff is amazing to work with, kind and honest.

I HIGHLY recommend Gretchen and Ann, as they were absolutely WONDERFUL!

The best place to go if searching for your wedding dress! !. I made 4 appointments to look for wedding dresses in the Nashville area. Glitz was my first stop and I ended up canceling all of my other appointments! They couldn't have made me feel like more of a princess. They were not only helpful but fun and compassionate too! Love them!

With less than two weeks to go, I set out frantically to find a dress?.3pm on Saturday I call the Glitz. Rita answers and hears the urgency in my voice when she answers my ?what time do you close?? question. Rita asked what type of gown I was looking for and we had a conversation about size, style and appropriateness for the event in which I am attending. Rita talked with me on the phone while choosing dresses for me to try on once I arrived. 3:40 pm Saturday, I walked into the Glitz and gasped when I looked at the selection she had waiting in a dressing room for me. There it was! The perfect evening gown in Royal Blue! The fit was perfect; a RARE find! Closing time had passed when I finished the purchase, yet Rita was kind enough to share thoughts on accessories and possible heels.

Thanks to Rita I now have a gown for this ?Royal? event ? one in which my date stated was ?ELEGANT??the very word I wanted to hear?.I am so thankful for Rita?s kindness; it felt like she was a friend for years and am only sad she won?t be there to help me get ready for my important night.

It's a Diamond in the Rough. I guess you just need to decide what you are looking for in a gown-shopping experience:

If you want sip champagne serenely while looking at a catalogue of $10K dresses and playing the grand piano, then you need to go somewhere else.

If you are looking to find *the* dress efficiently and affordably, then go to Glitz. They have a huge selection, can order anything you like, and even though it is a hectic disaster inside, they seem to know exactly where everything is and will be.

They have a fair number of teens working for them but they also have some more experienced sales women who seem to love what they do and are good at it!. (Rita in particular is truly HILARIOUS and she was so great about delicate issues like ordering teeny tiny bridesmaid dresses in a plus size)

Bottom line: If your goal is to have the high-brow, well-lit, white-bread experience, go ahead and go somewhere else....then pack it up and haul it over to Glitz to find what you really need: a beautiful dress!

Glitz? Yes, Please!. **Please note: The only reason why five stars are not awarded here is because we have not yet received our dresses. They will arrive this summer and another review will be posted at that time.

Last month, I went bridal gown shopping for the first time. We began our day at a nation-wide, super-mega bridal store which will remain nameless (hint: it rhymes with Mavid's Tridal). After that exhausing morning, we traveled across town to Glitz. My sister happened to purchase her wedding dress here several years ago. A very knowledgeable and supportive young woman assisted us (plus, she never made me feel like a cow nor did she crowd my space like Mavid's Tridal associates). While I found a dress I loved, we had already scheduled a trip to Atlanta for more gown shopping. I ended up finding "the dress" on that trip. However, I still love the Glitz dress.

Nevertheless, I was determined to give Glitz some business! Last weekend, I took my bridesmaids to find their dresses. We had such a good time working with Rita - she's hilarious! The girls found their dresses and Rita spent a lot of time with us (taking measurements, matching fabrics, discussing the pros and cons of fiber-enriched yogurts, etc.). We couldn't have asked for better service with a smile.

If you prefer the stuffy, snobby, invasive staff at other bridal retailers, Glitz is not the place for you. However, if personable, down-to-earth, pleasant salespeople are your cup of tea, Glitz should be your first stop. Most importantly (for all you brides out there), it was a stress-free experience.

Very Unorganized!! Stay Away!. I ordered my bridesmaids dresses through Glitz. Worst mistake ever! am so glad I did not get my wedding dress here. They are extremely unorganized and half of the employees do not know what's going on. They do have a great dress selection but terrible service.

Finally found the dress!. My daughter and I were shopping for a prom dress for her senior prom.

Neither of us are fans of shopping, and tend to lose patience when visiting stores that are packed. We'd already made about 6 trips shopping this year, and hadn't found THE dress yet... She had a picture in her mind of what she wanted, found several online she liked, but no one in town had them in stock. Also, most of the other places had NO ONE willing to even help us look for dresses. It felt like we were supposed to search through thousands of dresses alone, and wait over an hour for a dressing room at those places.

We only had a few hours today, but I was determined we were going to find one she liked. We walked into Glitz and found a couple hanging she thought she'd like to try, and one of the girls offered to start a fitting room for us. After selecting 3-4 dresses to try, my daughter started trying them on. One of the staff (Sherri) asked if we had someone helping us and I told her not yet, so she immediately came to help us. She ended up spending about 2 hours with us, and convinced my daughter to try on multiple dresses that she wouldn't have considered at my suggestion.

We found a dress my daughter REALLY liked, in the color she was looking for. Style was quite different from what she'd planned, as it was somewhat similar to last year's style. But when she put it on, her eyes lit up and I knew it was the one.

With Sherri's help, we had a great day and were able to get a dress we love, at a reasonable price. Glitz may not look like "the place to shop" for a great dress, but if you want some individualized attention I highly recommend it!

SO RUDE!. Experience: I was going to Glitz to look for my bridal gown. This was my third time looking for dresses and I was determined to buy my dress. We walked in and were greeted by an extremely nice younger girl! She asked details about my big day and what I was looking for in a dress. She pulled some beautiful dresses and I felt like I could walk away with one. We put a downpayment on "THE" dress and had to come back and get measured. We returned only to be greeted by an older lady with a horrible attitude (I think her name was Anne). She looked at the paperwork and her exact words were "Sweetie, you are not a size 4...maybe a 6" I wear a size 2 in jeans.... I felt completely disrespected and wanted to turn around and walk out. She made me get back in the dress and I ended up measuring a 4 in it. She was RUDE the whole time. You think she could've been nice, I was buying a $2,000 dress from her...needless to say my bridesmaids will not be getting there dresses here.

I would not recommend this place for the bridal experience!

try the white room in murfreesboro they were extremely sweet and GREAT customer service!

Appearance: First and foremost this place needs a MAJOR face lift. Don't get me wrong they have great dresses but the inside and outside need some work... it kind of looks sketchy from the outside.

overall: HORRIBLE-RUDE customer service... pretty dresses but not a huge selection.

white room is WAY better.

Best-Kept Secret in Nashville. As a new bride-to-be, it wasn't hard for me to become quickly overwhelmed with all the planning and craziness that comes with a wedding. The word "elopement" popped into mine & my fiance's head several times over the first few weeks :)

I decided I needed to do something fun and go find "The Dress" with my mom & my sister. I quickly nixed the idea of the more widely known bridal stores. I've been to them countless times for other people's weddings and it was always a stressful experience, I felt like I was on an assembly line. I was always shoved in a dressing room with 50+ girls and it made me nervous with all the loudness and pushy employees.

I walked into Glitz Bridal and I immediately felt a wave of relief! It was a beautiful little salon with a very friendly staff and lots of unique dresses for amazingly low prices. I was one of the only brides there and I felt like I could truly enjoy the day trying on dresses instead of rushing to get out of there. It was a perfect day and I found the perfect dress! I strongly recommend going to Glitz for a one-of-a-kind bridal experience! :)

ps: If you're hungry beforehand, go to Lemongrass restaurant down the street. They have amazing Thai food and fantastic cocktails :)
