Great hotel BUT... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at goo.gl/FPxYD They have some of the best hotel deals on the web!
Horrible Service and Unsatisfactory Conditions. DO NOT STAY.
PICK ANOTHER HOTEL! Our hotel stay was horrendous! The AC didn't work, in the dead of summer, and the staff could absolutely care less.
We arrive back to the hotel after a wedding at mid night, and the room was almost 80 degrees when the thermostat was set to 69. When we called the front desk, the only offer they provided was to have the engineer come to the room, which we had already tied two times earlier that day.
The hotel manager on duty, Scott Allen, was so extremely rude that we were horrifically offended. I would have expected better service at a hostel! When we demanded that they provide another room to sleep in, he actually had the audacity to start a count down to when he would retract his previous offer of an engineer! In so many words he stated " I will retract my previous offer in three...two...” and when we continued to push him for better service, he hung up on us.
My only advice to anyone looking for hotel in Nashville, is KEEP LOOKING!!! Even if you have to pay a bit more, stay somewhere else. This hotel is unsatisfactory on many levels.
Excellent experience. I stayed at this hotel in Aug 2006 and was very impressed with the appearance, cleanliness, and quietness. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at, and I have no complaints.
Great Staff. The staff of the Sheraton went out of their way to be polite and helpful. I came to Nashville on a business trip and did not know anything about the area. The concierge, a young lady named Shannon or Sharon?, was very helpful and friendly. Same goes with the front desk staff. The hotel is very nice and clean. However, the staff is what really won me over!
I felt like a family member. I stayed at the Sheraton Nashville Downtown location over the weekend. I have never felt so welcomed at a hotel in my life! The staff really seemed to care about my trip, my stay, and my interests. The front desk clerk asked how my flight was, the concierge printed out maps of the local points of interest and directions and had great suggestions for dinner, and the staff in the restaurant was very attentive as well. As for the hotel itself, they are remodeling it but it didn't disturb me at all. They said that they will have a Starbucks in the hotel next week. Bad timing on my part! :( All in all, I had a great stay and I look forward to coming back to Nashville and staying at the Sheraton again!
Would rather sleep in a box.. Will never stay here again. People were rude to me and the 200 a night room looked like a room at motel 6. Dont waste your time or money.
Downtown event space offers the best views in the city..

The Pinnacle is located on the top floor of the Sheraton Nashville Downtown and makes the building one of the most recognized on the Nashville skyline. Open for 25 years as a restaurant, the Pinnacle is now solely a private event facility. The ballroom rotates slowly, giving patrons a wonderful view of downtown and a spectacular look at the State Capitol.

Definately would come back!. Very happy to have stayed here! All of the staff was incredibly friendly, the rooms were very clean and very comfortable! The hotel is beautiful - our stay on the 17th floor allowed us to look down on the atrium - great view! Excellent location for both the State Buildings and the entertainment district.
A nightmare!. Stayed there twice while son was at a 4-H convention. Elevators wouldn't work right. Some passengers thought that they wouldn't go if there was too much weight, but it was hard to get anyone to get off so that the doors would close. Sometimes the elevator would go all the way up before coming down & stopping at EVERY FLOOR! I was not able to dial my son's room from my room or from a house phone. The desk clerks insisted that he must not be there when I knew that he was. For 4 days I begged for assistance but nothing was done. Others had the same problem. My son missed a very important dinner because nobody was able to phone him or get to his room because of the elevator situation. I also thought the rooms were crummy for the price. The bathrooms were in bad shape.
