Absolute worst Mexican Food in Nashville. From the moment you walk in the door you will quickly notice that you are in a DUMP. This was my first and my last visit. BEWARE if you order anything with ground beef be sure to check if it is cooked thoroughly. I don't know about you but I don't like my taco salads with a side of raw meat. After trying to explain this to the waitress I got that "deer caught in the headlights" look. She had no idea what I was trying to tell her. This place makes low end Chinese restaraunts half edible. There are numerous other Mexican restaraunts in Nashville (Las Palmas, which happens to be excellent). I wouldn't take my dog to this place, let alone return. Nashville, you have been warned.

best refried beans in nashville. I have been going to la fuente a long time and have NEVER had a bad experience or a bad meal. The service is excellent, Im a big fan of mexican food but this is by far my favorite. The only thing I dont like about mexican food is the refried beans I usually dont even order them, but at la fuente I can eat the entire plate. also try the enchiladas, the sauce is excellent.

User review by carolyncb. My husband and I have gone to this restaurant twice and have enjoyed it both times. The service is very good. The food is excellent the Mexican Shrimp Cocktail is wonderful. My husband, who loves authentic mexican and is very critical of the mexican restaurants in N'ville, loves this restaurant. I highly recommend it.

Top notch. Typical American Mexican restaurant with atypical food and service. The service at this establishment is some of the finest. The tortila ships are just average but the taco salad shell was light and crisp. And quite large. I am a big eater and I could not finish the lunch size. Not being stingy with either of the two cheeses made this one of my favorites. The chicken, spiced just right and cooked very well was a treat indeed. They even have live music some nights.
