Tips for Tiba Nu

Client stacks. Schedules one client ontop of the next. Doesn't allow anytime for the LMT to use the restroom, eat, stretch, answer any questions the client may have, enter s.o.a.p. notes, discuss issues with clients and specifics of thier massage for that session.

Doesn't do Intake forms or S.O.A.P. notes which is a basic law requirement of the Massage Therapy Board.

change is a good thing!. I have always had good experiences @ Tiba, disappointed when I thought they were leaving. Tried other area spas; blah! Opened my mailbox on e day and suprised to find an invitation to their NEW LOCATION! Simply fabulous!! Without the 'cracker barrell' to walk through upon entry, once again I was very pleased to meet familiar faces delivering the same serene atmosphere. I didn't get a tour of the new place, but I will soon be back to see more from my favorite healing hands & wonderful spirits!

BEST service, BEST pedicure is town. I don't know what these bad review people are talking about -- the TIBA folks are incredible. I've been going there for years (when I can afford to splurge) and wouldn't think of going anywhere else -- and -- give gift certificates there as gifts of luxury to friends. It's fabulous. I've yet to get a pedicure that compares anywhere and believe me, I've tried to find one as good. They work and work and work on your feet -- it's like they are obsessed w/getting them baby soft ( and they succeed, too, by golly ) - it's amazing and worth every penny ( and they don't cost much more than anywhere else). And they bring you a glass of wine or cup of coffee!!! My Lord! Who could complain about that? Here's my most recent experience: I went in to buy a gift certificate for friends and myself...and...wanted to book the appt. for a Sunday, it's a special occassion..and...the owner overheard my request and the "booker" saying, no, no one does pedicures/manis on Sundays, and she came over and heard me talking about my special occasion and said, oh, that's okay, it's two months away, we'll get someone to come in and do them for you and your friends. How GREAT is that? And what about that level of customer service, huh? And let me tell you...I'm not a frequent customer. I can't afford to be A) and B) I live too far away to be. THAT'S what TIBA is like. I realize these girls got bad waxes and I"m sorry for them....really...but...they should give TIBA another try. It's awesome.

Swanky Green Hills spa offers more than 200 services, from pedicures to underwater massages.. In Short
The spa, like its services, is reminiscent of the Middle East. White-tiled floors gleam, a waterfall trickles at the entrance and treatment rooms have names like Aegean and Caspian. A brightly lit corridor leads to rooms for baths, Scotch showers, facials and massages, with a small space for pedicures. Serious skin mavens will enjoy hair and makeup services by the Jacques Dessange team. There are also massages and spa packages such as the five-hour Mother/Daughter Escape.

wax. I was not impressed with the bikini wax. I went because I had a gift certificate and I left with bruises. I have had PLENTY of great waxes elsewhere at cheaper prices. Then mani/pedi, on the other hand, were great.

Too much clutter....... This place really needs some organization. There is so much stuff crammed in such a small place you will shake your head and wonder. Everything from cosmetics to general home hardware. Anything over $10 seems to be locked up in a glass case and according to the signs there are no cash refunds, store credit only. Tiba should definitely focus on inventory reduction and getting rid of unnecessary items. Not a typical American way of shopping for sure.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!. This is an incredible spa! TIBA is the only place I go for my facials, my nails and my waxing. The facillities are extremely clean and very up-to-date. The staff is amazingly nice and always very helpful. It becomes a second home for all your personal, recreational health needs. The price is worth the fantastic service!

Too Expensive. Tiba's is a very nice spa but it is too expensive for the services offered. It might be okay for a one time deal.

Worth the $$$. A little pricey, but definitely top-knotch! My 1-hour massage was one of the best, and this is the only place I'll go to get my eye-brows waxed!

wonderful facials. tiba offers great skincare and uses the most up-to-date techniques. i moved to seattle a year ago and have yet to find an aesthetician as wonderful as sabina. the prices are high but they are completely worth the end result.
