Editorial Review for La Paz Restaurante & Cantina – by Jocelyn Morneau
In Short
Muted shades of earth tones color the Southwest decor in the spacious dining room, which separates the large crowd into various eating areas. Warm days and nights create heavy traffic on the large patio out front, a perfect spot to enjoy a frozen margarita. Spicy salsa, grilled fajitas and creamy queso abound, but the kitchen throws a few surprises into the mix: salmon quesadillas, crab and artichoke enchiladas and shredded pork tacos are also available.

La Paz is actually a fabulous restaurant to eat dinner, lunch or meet friends at. I never known one single person that didn't love it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a good atmosphere and food.

I was surprised to see this rated #2 for Best Mexican food. To be nice, the atmosphere is upbeat and trendy. They do have good margaritas. However, the food is bland and the quality so-so. Their tortillas must come out of a bag, and their chicken tastes processed and loaded with preservatives. If you are looking for real mexican, stay away. (Try Nolensville road!) If you have a desire for 'american mexican'- this is your place.
