Best place ever. What a story...

I started my search for an alteration company by researching alteration places in Nashville. After going to 3 other places with my wedding dress (they told me it was too complicated, one was going to charge me $700, the other was rude to me, etc), I literally was in tears because I didn't know where I was going to get it altered for a good price by a good person....that was until I randomly drove past Fashion Alterations. I pulled over after seeing a wedding dress in the window and briefly looking them up online. They got great reviews so I went in.

I was greeted by the sweetest lady I have ever met - Houri. I officially love her. It's like my mom was there helping me! She was so nice and sweet and immediately helped me with my alterations. I told her my story of how I couldn't find a place and she immediately made me feel more comfortable. She has 2 daughters so she really cares for people.

She took the time to ask me how I was feeling, make sure my dressed was pinned up to my liking and even hugged me when I needed it.

I got my dress back and it fit PERFECT. She even was able to do the bussell for my wedding dress in a matter of hours so I could have on time for my pictures.

The best part was that she explained her pricing and it was exactly what I budgeted for - not $700 like the other places I had gone too.

I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FASHION Alterations and Houri. She is amazing at what she does, she cares for you -the customer and their prices are amazing. I will not be going anywhere else.

Absolutely Fabulous!. Fashion Alterations is the ONLY place I would ever take my clothes (Believe me, I've tried them all!) Houri is an alterations GENIUS! who takes tremendous pride in her work. Her techniques are absolutely uncontested in nashville....And you'll actually get your articles back in a very reasonable amount of time, which I think is quite elegant (wink, wink.)

Expert Tailoring. Forget the dry cleaners. Go here for your alteration needs. Houry is the master seamstress who will quickly figure out where it needs to be taken in or let out. She can even make from-scratch clothing - I am definitely thinking about having her make future Halloween costumes for me.

Pricier than what I am used to, but worth it if you want your clothes to look like they were made for you.

In a bind? Your formal event only 2 days away? Houry can rush your alterations. She did a suit for me in 1 day once.

There is also a well-stocked section of gently-used clothing. There are some goods deals on nice clothing. Lots of formal dresses.
