Do not use this place. I dropped off a mower for a simple reconnect a pedal cable, and they took my engine apart, broke the engine while apart and want over $600.00 to fix it. I dropped off the mower running fine except the pedal cable disconnected, and now I get back a broken lawn mower. This is so wrong and as my kids always say, totally unfair. If anybody can give me some advice on how to get them to fix what they have broken, and some advice on who all to complain to so this won't happen to anybody else, please tell. The paperwork I signed did not even ask them to take apart my mower engine. Going to this company has truly been a nightmare.
I left an older string trimmer with them last week and asked them to repair it. They promised to have it ready with in a week. Not only was the work completed prior to the time they promised - but they spent time explaining what the issue was and advised me on how to keep from having repair needs in the future. This was after the bill was paid. They were polite, kind and patient. Its a pleasure to do business with a locally owned business who put the customer's needs before theirs. These folks are knowledgeable mechanics and provide first class service. I recommend Green Hills Lawnmower to everyone. Thank You!

I had difficulty finding a part for my old mower ... a lot of difficulty. The manufacturer sent the wrong part twice before informing us that the part originally ordered was no longer available. We were at the point where we were almost ready to give up. Then, we called Green Hills Lawn Mower Co. and they had the part in stock.
Not only did they have the part, they were happy to advise us on installing the part or, should we wish, they could install it for us. We chose to have them do the work and couldn't be happier with the result. The price was reasonable (their hourly rate is actually lower than other local companies), the service was outstanding, and they were very helpful. It seemed as though they were just as interested in making my lawn look good as we were.
We highly recommend these people. If you're looking for a company that knows what they're doing and will treat you honestly and openly, they are the best choice you can make.

Really bad customer service!!!.
Don't use this company,they had my mower over a month and when I called to get it they never even started to work on it with no apology I might ad.
Then they found out they had to order a part and they said the parts company sent the wrong one to boot(no apology yet-they could care less!!)
Finally the mower is fixed and they said it would cost me about $200 bucks for a mower that cost about $200 bucks new.
These guys are terrible!!!
Stay away from Green Hills Lawn Mower Co.

Poor Customer Service. I took my mower to Green Hills Lawn Mowers to be repaired for a time of 7-10 days. Four weeks later I was notified that my service had been completed and now I have no lawn mower because I could not afford the expensive parts and labor costs! ($140) Along with the slow service and expensive labor, the attendants were extremely unhelpful. When I inquired about the cost, I was told that 3 hours were spent on it which is considered a long time. I am no mechanic and I spent more than 3 hours working on it myself before taking it in. I would highly suggest taking your lawn equipment repairs elsewhere!
