Never had better Chinese anywhere! My family loved this place! Too bad it went of out business in September 2007.

My favorite Chinese

I love Chinese Garden! It reminds me of how Chinese restaurants used to be: dishes with distinct flavors, good, personal service and Chinese decor & dishes. My favorite dish is vegetable lo mein. It has tiny, tender pea pods, a variety of other vegetables and a delicate sauce with a distinctive flavor. It seems like so many Chinese retaurants use the same vegetables and spices in every dish, but each dish tastes differently at CG. I'm no fan of buffets, so we go on non-buffet nights for a quiet dinner.

I'm addicted

I've eaten here countless times because of the quality of the food. I used to work nearby, but even now that I work downtown I will make the trip to enjoy an occasional lunch there, especially so now that they've added the buffet, which offers a large variety and includes most of my favorites. Contrary to the review, I've never had any issue with the service. Everyone I take here quickly becomes a fan of the food. And if you like hot and sour soup, you will soon form an addiction -- theirs is the best I've found. My specific recommendation for newcomers is the Empress Chicken or any of the "5 flavored" dishes (both represented on the buffet). BTW, there's plenty of seating in the place; parking is the only issue I've ever experienced.
