I am a local caterer, who uses Becker's Bakery on a regular basis! Recently, I had an immediate need , their staff was friendly, understanding, and most of all accomodating. The cake that I purchased was a white cake with a delicious lemon filling, topped with a scrumptious icing( just a hint of lemon to compliment, but not overpower). I had so many compliments on the cake- one of the guest inquired if I made the cake- I confessed I did not- she ordered her twins that exact cake for their 9th birthday party ( Becker's accomodated her by having that exact cake shaped like a guitar/ and went out of their way to ornate it with High school Musical items!!). I have read some of the other reviews; and have never experienced a poor product or unfriendly service. However, working with this establishment has been a blessing to my business; and I know without a shadow of a doubt, if there were ever a problem with my order, they would go out of their way to make it right ( even if they had to deliver it to you personally @ your function) .. I know from experience that this type of service will not be received from your local grocery store. Becker's Bakery is a family owned establishment and their reputation is what made them; as well as, keeps them in business 50 years later.. they want you to be THRILLED, if you give them the opportunity, which I am glad I have, and will continue to do!

I ordered my son's 1st birthday cake from here. It was horrible. I took one bite and was done. The cake was DRY, DRY, DRY. I was very disappointed. I would not advise anyone to order a cake from Beckers Bakery. The staff was not helpful and the cake was horrible. I have had better luck at Kroger.

Cons: Dry cake, Less than helpful staff
