Great place for your pets!!!!.
I've been doing business with pampered pets for some time now, and I've never run into one problem as far as the boarding goes. They have always greeted me, and especially my dog with smiling faces! The area is great; it's off the main roads by a farm and surrounded with greenery and plenty of shade. The play area is huge.
What I liked most about it is how they will help you keep your feeding/medication/play routine how your pooch needs it as long as you relay the info! My dog really is taken care of... and the grooming is fantastic: the kennel got a new groomer a little while back and since then my boy has looked better than he ever has, and smells good too, haha!
Also, I might add, that if there was ever a problem, or something didn't go as planned, they'd always call me immediately to let me know. I highly recommend!!!
Will NEVER leave my pet again. I boarded my dog on 9/26/09 and went to pick him up on 9/29/09. Apparently he got a case of 'happy' tail. My dog has puncture wounds in the top and bottom of his tail. It was so bad that the Vet took pictures. That is NOT freaking happy tail. I still want to know what the hell happened to my dog!! Why does he barely eat and/or drink... Why the hell does he not want any kind of food?? Why am I the one that has to deal with the aftermath?? Someone is going to pay for this, and it's not going to be me. This crap is for the birds. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR ANIMALS AT PAMPERED PETS!!!
Absolutely the BEST!!!!. I have taken my little dog there a number of times for grooming and even just playtime and he absolutely loves it. I know the care takers love each and every pet that comes in by the smiles you are greeted with. I have been to a few different kennels in Nashviile, but Pampered Pets is the last and only one I will ever take my dog to again. You guys ROCK!!!!
They Love & Care for My Dogs as if they are Their Own! Excellent Grooming! Excellent Care!.
I am a dog rescuer &am extremely particular about where my own dogs are allowed to stay for any amount of time. I believe the experiences that they have during their critical developmental stages is of the utmost importance to the dogs they will become for the rest of there lives. My dogs have spent many a "play day" at PP & are loved & treated as if they are the staff's own personal pets! My three babies love playing with other dogs, in part due to their experiences at PP.My little pup Mitzi, who suffered severe neglect &abuse early in life does not trust anyone except close family. But She LOVES the staff of PP of D! She &my two other dogs run to the door to get in quickly &know their way around inside as if they are home. I feel extremely comfortable there myself, as I am allowed to enter the back area anytime without any warning &have been encouraged to do so when ever I feel I'd like. The staff are working there because they LOVE the dogs &it is their lifes calling. Most of them are just like me and try to help needy animals when ever they possibly can. They are special people.
As to the grooming: I had been taking my dogs to a local PetSmart location for grooming &had questions about how they were cared for while there. They were never allowed to relieve themselves, no matter how long they were there,I also experienced coat breakage on my afghan boy almost every single time . I believe she was treated roughly &was very stressed while being groomed at petsmart. Now that I use PP, my babies are shiny, clean, fluffy, very happy &relaxed when they come home! I will only allow my pets to be groomed at PP of D now! It is also the only place I would consider leaving my babies overnight! The manager at PP calls my Afghan boy, "her boyfriend" &gives him lots of love, treats, and kisses! They are loved &cared for properly while they visit &I won't have it any other way!
Friendly staff, accomdating schedules. I have taken both my dogs to Pampered Pets and have had great results. The groomer did a great job on both my Huskie mix (all that undercoat!) and my corgi mix. The people at P2 are friendly, helpful and accommodating. I would recommend.
You have got to be kidding?. I took my dog there and they did a horrible job on him and he was terrified when I got him back. As to what the lady in the previous post said "despite what it said in the other review". You may have been lucky that one time but please don't imply that the rest of us haven't had our animals mistreated or a bad job done. Obviously there is something wrong.
Great Nashville Kennel!!. I researched a lot of kennels in Nashville to take my dog to for the week over Christmas and this one had the best presentation. I was surprised when they offered to take me on a tour of the grounds and kennel prior to dropping my puppy off, however I never got a chance because of the busy holidays. The people that work there are very sweet and caring. They groomed my dog even without me asking them too, and despite what the other reviews say, they did a great job! My puppy was obviously taken care of and exercised like they promised he would be because it takes a lot to wear him out and he's been out for hours since we picked him up!! They are a great kennel and I wouldn't hesitate to bring my puppy there in the future!!
THE ABSOLUTE WORST GROOMERS. I took my new cat there and the witch of a groomer insisted on sedation. My vet gave him it but it didn't take. I go to pick up my cat and the stupid b^%tch shaved his whiskers off and injured him quite badly under the arms. I came to find out from the "manager" that the woman was there on a temp to hire basis and NOT EVEN A STAFF MEMBER. I wanted my money back and they said they couldn't do that but that I could take my other cats there to get groomed. NOT ON YOUR LIFE!!! They "fired" the fat, overgrown retard that did this to my poor cat (apparently the "groomer" was having a baby soon...where are CHILD SERVICES???) She intentionally ABUSED my cat (even I know you don't shave a cat's whiskers) and the wounds were such that it looked to be no accident. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PETS, DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE. IF I COULD GIVE LESS THAN 1 star I WOULD. DEPLORABLE!
Think Twice....
I needed an out-of-town kennel fast, so I searched the web for those available in the Nashville area. Pampered Pets' site sounded so accommodating and caring, I contacted them and made a reservation. Upon returning after 48 hours, my pet smelled HORRIBLE, was DIRTY, and had dried
FECES attached to his fur.
Never again.
