Worst Pizza Hut Dining Experience I have ever had.
Worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant or a Pizza Hut. The servers were rude, the pizza was cold. I went in for the buffet at 1:00pm, first words out of the hostess mouth was they closed in 30 minutes. Then I was seated at a dirty table, no silverware, no napkins and no drink. When I finally did receive my drink it was not refilled for the entire visit. (Other customers were taking their drinks to the cash register to get a refill. Then being treated rudely for doing it.) I was ignored for the remainder of my stay
At 1:25 the hostess, Rain, seated two more people then told them she hoped they knew that no more food would be put out on the bar since they closed in five minutes.
It was no use to speak with the General Manager, he was behind the counter watching as his employees and hostess were rude and abusive to the customers.
As an added bonus, I live less than 3 miles from this Pizza Hut. Both this location and the Murfreesboro Road / Bell Road location refuse to deliver to my house.
I would not recommend either location to anyone, for pizza or for service.
1.5 hours for the cold wrong order.
This Pizza Hut *used* to be great, with Friday night delivery in under 45 minutes.
BUT something has changed in the year or so. Every time I order from them, I wind up with a credit because the delivery takes at least 1.5 hours, even on a weeknight, and the pizza is always room temperature. Half the time, my order is either wrong or the toppings are incredibly skimpy, but my ticket has always been correct. I haven't had ordering problems, but the delivery folks rarely apologize for the delay, and most of them simply claim that it takes an hour to drive the six miles to my house. The people there are nice about their mistakes, but that's not the point, and I don't think they're learning from them.
I haven't eaten inside, but every time I drive by (and I do often), there are about four workers sitting on the steps smoking and chatting with friends. So, I guess they're either slow on Friday nights when other restaurants are packed or service is poor.
Finally, what's up with the editorial review? I have written restaurant review professionally, and this one is about as generic as saying that the Earth is a floating orb with living things, water and oxygen. It's not a review but Web copy.
This national chain is a household name, thanks to its deep-dish and stuffed-crust pies..
Kid-friendly eat-in restaurants and small takeout shops alike sport interiors done in the signature red and white with a touch of yellow. Orders are placed at the counter--whether customers choose to stay or go--and pies are baked per request. Pizzas--from the hand-tossed to the twisted crust--dominate the menu, but the restaurant also offers chicken wings, salads and cinnamon bread sticks.
order twice because they will loose your first order. After an hour and a half after placing order, I decided to call and ask for a status on my delivery....... no where to be found. Order was taken by a young lady that I had dealt with before that needed some proper grooming in language and ettiquette before she ever answers the phone again. Not the first time coming in contact with this young lady, the last time order was in left field from what I ordered. Management did offer another delivery, yeah, I can wait another hour and a half. I'm way beyond leniency for customer service, I've done it for years but this is the final time I deal with Pizza Hut. As long as she's there, better order chinese.
