Good Work for a Hefty Price.
I, like most people, dislike going to the dentist. My experience here as far as care, has been exceptional. The dental hygienist is very knowledgeable and takes the time to educate you on better
dental hygiene. She also is very kind and does her best to make you comfortable. Having not been to the dentist in about 5 or 6 years, I had quite a bit of work to be done. My dentist is Dr. Elam. He is nice and does a good job. I am rather pleased with the care I have received there.
My complaint is with their billing, or lack thereof. I have dental insurance, and previously was billed for any work. Which is pretty standard. Generally, if you have insurance you either pay a small visit fee and are billed any remaining balance later. With all the dental work I had to get done, this would be nice. However, they are trying to do away with billing and have patients pay everything up front. So, if you are getting work done be prepared to pay all of it upfront regardless if you have insurance or not. Yes, even $700.00+ that day. I have always paid my bills on time and have paid them in full. I don't think it is fair to penalize everyone for the few people that may not pay theirs. Dental work is expensive. Paying a few hundred is not going to be easy for everyone. It is nice to have it in payments.
The work is also over priced. I could get a filling done anywhere else for around $60. Not here. It is closer to $100.…
5 star service and treatment. Was the nicest Dentist office I have ever been in with a extremely friendly staff and Dentist. Was in and out in less than 30 minutes and had no pain during my procedure.
Amazing Dentistry. Was seen as soon as I got in and had zero pain during my tooth filling and was impressed by the office and price!
The best Dentists in Nashville. Have been going to see Doctor Vaughan for years now and I have always had as good of a time as you can have while at the Dentists office. He and his staff are wonderful people that do great work and I totally recommend anyone needing a Dentist in Tennessee to call the Dentistry of Nashville.…
NOT FOR "POOR PEOPLE".
Went to Elam and he told me I need a lot of work done; which is fine. He gave me a quote and said I needed to go get a loan. I said, I could not get a loan and could not afford to do all the work
at one time. We agreed that he would do a little at a time. Well, the first trip there he did some work on one tooth, afterwards he told me that he did not do the kind of work that I requested, which was a little at a time and that he needed to do all of it in one setting or none at all. In other words, he "fired" me as a patient. A few days later, to my suprise, I got a refund check from him for the work that he had already done.
This man should be ashamed to call himself Dr. Which in my opion he is not....
STAY AWAY! Unless your rich!…
