When you belly up to the bar at the Villager, it better be with a beer gut because bartender Henry Piarrot--who operates the bar with his wife Ann--only sells suds. And when Henry's got us feeling all right, the jukebox is stocked with sing-along standards like "Piano Man." Of course, the Villager is nothing without the Village. The neighborhood regulars represented by the photographs lining the walls will always be the lifeblood of this pub.

Best little GAY Bar in Nashville!!! Lots of young college boys and girls that look like boys. Vandy & Belmont are right there. Bar staff very open so don't be a breeder! Lots of smoke in the place makes it hard to stay very long, but there is lots of better smoke in the theater parking lot. Have a great time but don't forget to bag your clothes when you get home.

Smoky, Loud, Cheap Beer, Excellent Juke, Nice Barkeeps, Great Decor, what else could you want from a dive bar? The walls are covered with photos of the patrons over the past god-knows-how-many years. There's pictures from a year ago, and ones with people in mutton chops. If you want to meet natives, you better stop here.
Pros: Oh try the Po'Boy, it'll make you weep with joy. Best people you'll meet in Nashville.
