Gyro Fail.
i have been to this resturant on three Occasions this month. i am done trying to get any type of good food or service from this Establishment. On two occasions i been when they were not busy, i
frequent many of Nashvilles Meditereanean/Middle eastern resturants. tabouli's does not even compare for how well others make theyre gyro and kaffa. anywhere else in nashville will give you more value for your dollar aswell.
they're beer and Hookah Prices i thought were average of others in Nashville. however our coals were not replaced on all three visits until we called them over. and i hate to do this to Servers, and tabouli's is the only place i have had to do this, i apologize but i had to call them over and raise my hand because they would not check on our table or replace our hookah Coals until they had burnt out. if you do decide to go maybe bring your own Tongs so you can flip your own coals.…
Oh, Tabouli, what happened to you???.
Everyone who knew and loved the old Tabouli that served damn good, super fresh food at really good prices surely misses those days. The new Tabouli, sadly, just isn't the same and isn't worth going
to. I had high hopes that the makeover would just be cosmetic, but it's not.
Rather than getting an awesome stromboli, gyro, or falafel plate for under $8, we now get revamped (and not as good) versions of those for about twice the price. No one went to the old Tabouli looking for great ambiance, but it was a good, basic, neighborhood restaurant that had found it's place.
Now we get a garish decor, over priced food, a more limited menu, and yippee, a hookah bar and belly dancing on the weekends. No thanks.…
I really like this place. I have never been to the old version of the restaurant. Just drove right by it all the time. But I finally had dinner here a few weeks ago, and the food was fantastic. Ate on their front deck and there was live music. It was a great experience for me and my friends. Highly recommended!…
A Real Disapointment. Tabouli's used to be among my favorite spots and I ate there regularly. But it has really taken a dive and the quality of the food has gone from great to poor. Their remodeling and attempts to make it a nicer restaurant are noticeable improvements, but serving food on new fancier plates doesn't change the fact that it isn't any good. Last night my girlfriend and I decided to give it a third and final chance to see if they had gotten better since our last two experiences (both of which were before the remodeling)....and it was a real disapointment and waste of our money. Both the hummus and water had a dishwater aftertaste the chicken was overly salted and the grilled vegetables that the menu indicated that the kebob would include did not come with the meal. It's sad to see what used to be such a great restaurant serve such poor quality food. Don't waste your time or money with this place--it isn't what it used to be.…
Great neighborhood restaurant, and great late night with hookah and full bar.. On a recent visit to the newly remolded Tabouli's on Belmont Blvd, I was pleased with what I saw. Not only had they added on a beautiful new patio with open garage doors, they had renovated the entire inside of the restaurant and they did a very good job. After being greeted by the friendly host, we were seated at a table on the patio. We started off with the hummus with pita and grape leaves, both were delicious. I had the lasagna, it was cooked perfect, not too hot to eat but cooked all the way through, and tasted great. The service was very friendly, and the place looks great. I would recommend this place as a must try.…
