Even though its always crowded the food is nothing special at all. I had the Sweet Potato pancakes that I had heard people rave about. They did not taste any different than ordinary pancakes. The syrup however was delicious but big deal I wanted delicious pancakes. Overall it was definitely still good but I was just expecting incredible.

Pancake pantry is a tradition,& it's said you're not a true Nashvillian until you stand in line at the Pantry.I will
often make the 30 mile drive into town just for the Chocolate Sin pancakes,as a matter of fact I think I'll do it now!

I've never really understood the appeal of pancake pantry. Waiting in line for an hour to have over-priced pancakes that I could have cooked better myself? No thanks.
For better service and better food I recommend the place over on Elliston next to Krispy Kreme.
