Thai Heaven. This is by far the best Thai I have had in the Southeastern states. I discovered this place about a year ago and I have coming at every other week since. True to their Thai recipes, this food is so well done I crave their curries. Their soups, rolls and desserts have always been fresh, no hint of over- fridgriated or heated foods. Its a cozy atmosphere with friendly people, I highly recommend it.
best thai on this side of town.
Great pad thai. All the curries are good, too. Spring rolls are just OK. Crab rangoon and chicken on a stick are both good, too.
Oh, the staff rocks, too. Just plain good. Thanks for all the great meals!
PS - we usually do carry-out.
THE Best Thai Food in Nashville. I moves here from New Orleans and searched for months for decent Thai food. Although Salathai was amazing, it closed down about 2 months after I got here. Several bad experiences almost made me give up until I found Siam Cafe. This is THE best Thai food in Nashville and is the REAL DEAL. The staff is also extremely personable and are just fun, super people. Also, it doesnt close for lunch, so you can go anytime. Excellent.
Siam Cafe Best Chicken Pad Thai. I frequent Siam Cafe on average once a week. I absolutely love their Chicken Pad Thai! Also if you want to try something spicy and fresh try the Somtom, it's shredded green papaya with this spicy sweet juice very yummy!
One of my favorite restaurants.. I love this place! I am so glad I was told about Siam cafe! I probably eat there once a week. Everyone I have taken has commented on how excellent the food is, even if they aren't big fans of Thai food. The staff is friendly as well. I love the green curry and the spring rolls. The decor is nothing special, but that's not really the reason you would go to this place. I have nothing but good things to say.
A happy find for Thai food fanatics that's also good for beginners..
In Short
Nolensville Road houses a number of culinary treasures--little out-of-the way places that, once discovered, you hope will remain somewhat secret. Siam Cafe, located on a side street off Nolensville, augments the area's reputation. Standard Thai dishes are served up with fresh ingredients at reasonable prices. Traditional favorites like pad thai and red or green curry hold their own.
best thai food I've ever had!.
Ask to be seated in the dining area if you want to order you own food and not eat from the buffett (which is also avaliable at dinner).
I arrived in from Houston, TX and saw this place on citysearch - after some difficulty finding it I pulled up and things only got better.
The beef panag was the best I've ever had, period. The chicken pad thai was also excellent (also the best I've ever had). To give you an idea of what I mean- I travel quite a bit and always locate the local thai restaurants - and have eaten at almost every thai restaurant in Houston over the last few years (dozens of them).
This really is a gem - it made me sad to know that we don't have such exceptional food in Houston. For anyone that loves thai this is a much needed dining experience.
Everything is hot and fresh - and it's super quaint.
chicken noodle soup. When I need comfort food at lunch, their chicken noodle soup always hits the spot. Although their fried fish, dancing shrimp & eggplant are all favorites, this is worth the drive down Nolensville Pike.
my favorite.
The Siam Cafe is my long term favorite restaurant.
Regular board for lunch.
Menu with variety for evening.
Great Thai Food.. This is the best Thai food I have had in Nashville. The atmosphere is pretty good and the service is prompt. Definitely recommend.
