Editorial Review for Florida Seafood Kitchen – by Karen Lusky
In Short
It's Old Lebanon Road, not Key West. But the dining room sports a couple of large aquariums and plenty of seafaring memorabilia and trophy fish on the walls. Seafood-loving families and laid-back groups populate the rough-hewn, varnished pine tables. No-frills seafood is what's on the menu. "Fresh off the hook" items include cod filet, rainbow trout, flounder, grouper or perch, served fried, broiled or blackened. Sides include creamy cole slaw, potatoes and fettuccini.

Looks are deceiving and this place is an example. Not fancy at all but the food is another story. Being from NYC I was fortunate to always have numerous seafood places to pic from. My first seafood experience in Nashville was not good but this changed my mind. Huge portions of great tasting, FRESH, seafood at affordable prices make this place excellent. I would definitely go again. The downside is the service. Be prepared to wait or come with patience. Besides that it was a great dining experience.
Pros: Great food, huge portions, good price
Cons: slow service

Everything I had was fried in what seemed to be old grease. Everything tasted the same..."old and greasy". Service was OK. Premises were dull/greasy/and not very clean. I don't think I will go back.
Pros: cant think of a one
Cons: overall appeared un clean
