Editorial Review for House of Kabob – by Karen Lusky
In Short
Tucked between an Oriental grocery and an international food market in a strip mall, House of Kabob is easy to overlook. It's worth hunting for, though. The restaurant's dark interior and Persian wall mural give it an authentic Middle Eastern feel and a warm, romantic vibe. Fresh pita arrives at the table with cilantro, feta and butter. Entrees include kabobs of chicken, sirloin, lamb, salmon or marinated Cornish hen.

I've eaten at House of Kabob more times than I can count, and have never had anything but an exceptional experience. I've branched out to stews a few times, but the koobideh kabob, or koobideh / lamb shank combo, usually draw me in. They are both delicious. On top of the food, the servers are friendly. The building and interior are not the prettiest in town, but I always feel at home during meals there. I can't recommend it enough.
Pros: Food, Staff, Food
Cons: None, but don't expect 5 star decor

Went for lunch with my husband after reading the review on Citysearch. It was exactly as stated in terms of the delicious food. It was more than what we'd usually spend on a lunch during a work day but well worth it. Food was fresh and yummy.
Pros: Delicious food
Cons: None
