Great Experience with Blinds Direct

JWNASHVILLE, are you sure you are talking about Blinds Direct? I have lived in 3 houses over the past 5 years and have used Blinds Direct for all of my blind and shutter needs, and i have no complaints at all about the company. In fact, I have recommended them to all my friends and family. A family member told me she had looked them up on City Search and saw the negative review that you had written; despite the review that family member went ahead and went with Blinds Direct on my assurance, and she was beyond pleased. Not even was she pleased with the product and service, their prices were the cheapest around. The Blinds Direct in Nashville and surrounding areas is owned and operated by a male and they arrived at my house and other family members house with 3 sample books as well as samples I could look at put on the window, so maybe your facts are a little mixed up.

- Cons: Not any negative things I can say, just expect it to take a couple of weeks for your blinds or shutters to be installed because they are custom ordered
Tardy, Terrible Customer Service, & Dirty /Cheap Looking Products

I'm a first timer on here, but I feel compelled to warn the public about Blinds Direct. I ordered 3 basic 2 inch blinds..yes just 3 blinds, from Blinds Direct 5 weeks ago, and they were just now installed. Why did it take so long? To get the blinds I made at least 3 calls, weekly inquiring about delivery/installation. Each time the lady would say "Let me call you right back". I'd usually give her a few days and then call her back. The first time they came out they brought 2 different colors. One white in the middle with ivory on each side. They were dirty with a black film and looked very cheap. The lady who owns the company apologized and said she'd order new ones for me. Once again, I had to call her repeatedly to find out when they'd be in. She FINALLY returned my call for the first time on 9/7 and said her tech could come out on such and such date at 10:00. I stayed home from work wanting this hassle to be over. At 10:30 the install tech was a no-show. I called the owner to find out what the hold up was. She said "Oh I had you you down for the afternoon". My husband heard her say 10:00 just as I did. So she made a call and a tech showed up 11:00, not even concerned that I'm missing work. It's a shame that such a nice tech has to work for such a sloppy company. The blinds are finally done and I'm still unhappy. They look very cheap and trust me - they were not cheap. I don't recommend Blinds direct at all. The owner (who out of kindness, I'm choosing not to name) has the customer service skills of a termite! I shouldn't have to call a company to remind them to do what I'm paying them to do. She's sloppy, unprofessional, sometimes rude, and def. unorganized! My advice - check references and read reviews. Everyone sounds nice in the yellow pages! Do your homework!!!

- Cons: They wasted 5 weeks of my time and gave me poor product..not to mention a headache!
