Copeland & son are not honest.
Our air went out and we called this company. Bad mistake! Not only did they overcharge by $100 as compared to reputable companies like Lee's, they have also lied to us. Frank the son came out to do the job and took 2X longer than anyone else would have. The night before when our air went out, we talked to their service man who told us to turn off our air and let it thaw out and he'd be by the next morning. When no one came, we called and were told the nice man we talked with no longer worked there. So they sent the son, as I was told, the VP of the company. He added freon and we paid him for the call, the full amount charged but our unit never did work. He did not write on the invoice how much freon he put in so we called back and at first were told they did not know. After another call, he told us he put in 6lbs, but after I wrote a letter of comparison of costs of reputable companies like Lee's, he changed the story to say they added 8lbs so the charge would be the same.
Frank got angry on the phone when I inquired why the bill was so high...very poor customer service. He kept saying that it all had to do with the "cost of doing business" whatever that is... like other companies don't have similar cost.
I've spent more time than needed writing this review, but he's pushed my hot button and I don't want to see anyone else ripped off. As I said earlier, Copeland and Son are not honest and will cost you lots more than using a reputable company.
