I love Kristine! I've been taking my Shih Tzu, Kylar, to her for over 2 years now. She was recommended to me by my roommate at the time who had a schnauzer and she is the most wonderful groomer I know and for the best price you can find! I used to take him to Petsmart and they charge $45 for a small dog PLUS they want a tip! Kristine charges $30 and does everything for that amount and even gives him a little kerchief. Also, when Kylar turned 2 he started itching incessantly! I had tried different food and the vet told me I should allergy test him. (very expensive) When I took him to Kristine she told me to just put him on chicken and rice for a few weeks to get whatever was bothering him out of his system then switch him to Nutro Ultra. He has been doing so much better! I love that she's interested in helping the dog and owner and not interested in getting them to spend lots of money unlike the vet! She's the best!

THE BEST BY FAR. I took my toy poodle to Kristine for his first haircut. It wasn't until after taking Pierre to various places did I realize I should've stayed with Kristine. She's not only the cheapest but she shaves the closest (especially on his face) which I love. And he smells amazing when I get him back; the scent lasts for at least a week. I highly recommend her services.

Nashville's Best Kept Secret. I had to laugh at the negative comments here about Kristine's Pet Grooming. You obviously are not customers. I have taken my dogs to Kristine's for five years. She's wonderful. I had two Shih Tzu's. One was old, sick and crotchety. Kristine was always gentle with this dog up till he passed. As he became weaker, she took more time to see that he was comfortable while being groomed. My last Shih Tzu always looks great when I pick him up. As to waiting for appointments. I've never had to wait. I've called the day before I wanted to take him in and was given an appointment. Over the years Kristine has became a wonderful friend. I had tried several groomers since moving to Nashville. I only wish I had found her sooner. I would never consider changing groomers.

I love Miss Kristine!. Miss Kristine is wonderful, and she has been grooming my dog for 2 years. Her prices are the best which is why unlike other "pet resorts" she operates out of her home in a separate, licensed area, and answers her own phone, and she is a busy lady! I care a lot about getting the best deal without compromising quality and I have been very happy about how my Westie Colin has come out and Westies require a special shape to their cut. I would recommend her to anyone who knows that a good deal is hard to come by and she really is great to the dogs, she's never upset if your puppy breaks form and has an accident and it's great to see your dog looking their very best!

Great Groomer. I'll agree that Kristine isn't the best on the phone but I do know that she is a wonderful groomer. She was recommended to me by a dear friend and I too was put off by her mannerisms on the phone when I scheduled the appointment. My friend assured me that she was not like that in person. She was right. She's very friendly when you bring your dog and she does wonderful work. I have two Westies that I wouldn't take anywhere else. Picture perfect! Reasonably priced as well. You won't find a better deal in the area.

don't judge too quickly!!!. I find it odd that the only bad reviews on this site are given by people who have never even been to Kristine. As an actual customer of Kristine's for over 25 years I have been nothing but pleased with the work she does and the customer service I have always received. She always gives each and every dog special attention and care. In fact over the years my poodles have always gotten excited when I told them they were going to see Ms. Kristine. Pepper, my baby, always comes home with polished toenails, bows, a matching bandana and the prettiest haircut. My dog gets better pampering than I do. Bottom line don't judge people you've never even met. You wouldn't appreciate being on the receiving end of a bad snap judgement.

OH and by the way Kristine answers her own phone. She doesn't have time to carry on conversation with potential clients while trying to do a good job grooming people's dogs. She does, however, answer any questions you have when you get there, and gives everyone a piece of paper listing everything she does.

RUDE!. I agree with the other reviewer! I called to inquire on pricing and the lady that answered the phone definitely lacked customer service skills! I would never take my dog somewhere that is so rude to potential customers!!

Snobby!!. Don't even bother calling!!

I just called about having my dog, a cockapoo, groomed. I was told, "I don't groom part Cockers, let me give you the number of someone who does," in a very condescending tone. I have never encountered such an elitist attitude, even when grooming my dog at the more expensive places in town. Needless to say, I am offended!
