Economy-minded lodgings with a surprising amount of style.. The Scene
Just ten miles from downtown Nashville, this aptly named, two-story inn with its red-tiled roof and covered walkways is a real bargain. Offering clean and comfy digs at under forty bucks a night, it's one of the best deals around.

The Details
Federal-style headboards and wallpaper ceiling molding frame the basic amenities (clock radios, coffee makers, hair dryers, etc.) offered in each of the 100 double or king rooms. Dead-bolt locks and peepholes assure security-minded guests, and the parking lot, which accommodates trucks and RVs, is well-lit. An inn microwave and ice machine are also available for guest use.
