Best Soul Food EVER!!!. Ron's is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the Nashville area. Their smoked ribs and smoked chicken are excellent, and their sides are amazing. I've never eaten at a restaurant where everything is just so perfect as far as tastes are concerned. At most places where I've eaten, there's generally something more on my plate that I like more than the other. That's not the case at Ron's where the heaping helpings that they give you are almost too much to eat, but you know how soul food goes: it's not good for the body, but it's good for the soul.

The costs for what you get is very fair especially compared to other southern cooking establishments. You can't beat the food at Ron's.

Also, it's no longer on Murfreesboro Pk. It's on Mt View Rd in the Kroger Shopping Plaza next to the art store.

Great Southern Cooking. The best meatloaf, mac & cheese, and catfish in town. If you stray from those, you're on your own. Ron serves up huge portions and is always happy to see you.
