The first Hardee's opened as a walk-up burger restaurant in 1960 in Greenville, N.C. Today, the fast-food chain has locations across the United States and is spreading internationally. Big, beefy burgers--like the 1/3 pound Thickburger--are the stars, along with sides like fries, coleslaw, mashed potatoes and fried chicken. Breakfast offerings range from Made From Scratch Biscuits to Big Country Platters: biscuit, pancake, eggs, hash rounds and choice of bacon, ham or sausage.

Out did my perdictions. While in school earning my Accounting degree, I had to review a local company and explain their financial status using Standard & Poor?s and the company's financial prospectus. I selected Hardee's. During this time Burger King was the favorite consumer choice. I personally did not like BK because of the after taste. When I started eating Hardee's no other burger will do. Remember, doing the early 1990's McDonald's did not really cater to adults. I predicted to my class and my finance professor, Hardee's will out sell and perform financially than BK. Now approx 15 yrs later, I was right. I stated my argument with my class during my presentation of Hardee's financial position. Most in the class did not know where a Hardee's were located. I express to them, through a strategic marketing plan; Hardee's will not follow BK and McDonalds in the same geographic location. In short; I state this has proven to be the best strategy that a unique restaurant can use. Just as Chick - fill- and Zaby's. Still Hardee's is the best burger I have had short of my home made burgers.

Excellent burger, fresh, clean and very appealing!. This resturant is not one of your everyday place, the crew is professional and the waiting time is a blast considering the amount of food that is served! This is definately one of the best burger resturant in the city!

best hamburger. we have paid as much as $10.00 for ham burgers, but none can beat hardee's we fine it is one of the best tasting burger and a good value compared to the high class resturants that get 9.95 for a burger.

The NEW Hardee's. Normally I wouldn't bother saying anything but the improvment that this company has made calls for a bow. Fantastic hamburger. I don't agree with the "fast food mentality" guy. Fast food mentality is putting a slice of bread between to wafers of cardboard meat and calling it a "'BIG' Mac". The service is to be expected of a fast food resturant. They are nice but they don't need to know your name to give you a great product which is fine with me. I'm usually on my way home anyway. All and all the NEW Hardees rock!

I Have Always Liked Hardee's. I have always liked Hardee's ever since I could remember. Then moved to where there is no Hardee's restaurant and have missed it sooooo much. You never know what you got till you lose it. ( I missed the biscuits and gravy.) McDonalds doesn't have nothing over you, Hardee's!!!!

good eats. Not your normal fast food. I was hooked on backyard burger until hardees beefed up there burgers. Only get my burgers from hardee's now. Great improvement!!!!

The "new" Hardees?. While the new angus burgers are an improvement, Hardees is still a fast food burger place with a fast-food-burger-place mentality. It's a bit above the typical drive-thru joint, but still far below the hamburger specialty shops like Fat Mo's or Rotier's, and even Backyard burgers is still a choice cut above Hardees
