Vietnamese cuisine. This place I went to a couple of days ago that served pho. This place had pho, but it was not as I suspected to be. The pho was very horrible. I also found frozen meat still in the pho. When I bit into it, it was hard as a rock. I would not recommend this place to my friends.

Best Vietnamese food in Nashville.. This is my favorite place to dine in the Charlotte Pike/White Bridge area. There are several Vietnamese restaurants around this place, but none of them compare. The food is reasonably priced and the service is decent. However, the displayed photo for this place - the one that has the green "STORAGE" sign is obviously not the photo for this place. Be sure to get directions - this place may be tricky to find for newcomers. I highly recommend the ginger chicken, the pho or any of the bun selections.

Amazing!!!. Not just great food, but you can't beat the prices. In the almost 20 years I've gone there, I have nothing but praise for the freshness and taste of the food at Kien Giang. We drive from White House specifically to go there. All our friends, including several picky eaters, have become fans as well. My son is 14 - we've taken him there since he was a baby and he loves it. We particularly like the noodle/pork/egg roll bowl, the spring rolls with shrimp, the pancakes and the iced coffee.

Fabulous, authentic Viet food.. Don't even go to KG's if you're not interested in authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Kien Giang’s is the real deal – you can get jellyfish salad, numerous tripe dishes, beef tendon, really good pho, and a host of other more mundane things like lemongrass chicken (my favorite). It’s off the beaten path on Charlotte down past White Bridge Road, but well worth the drive. Closed Mondays, and cash only. Really good stuff!

what's up with the kid on the trike. I use to love this place. Great food and cheap prices. It never was much on ambience but recently they've spent some money on sprucing up the decor. The last two times I've been to Kien Giang there was a young boy - obviously the son of one of the owners or staff - who was riding his tricycle around in the restaurant. It really is a huge distraction. I'm not planning on going back.

Best noodles and spring rolls in town. Ever since coming to this place on a regular basis, I have never been able to eat at another Vietnamese restaurant and walk away truly satisfied. Only here. Kien Giang is quite a diamond in the rough. It's not much to look at on the interior, but hey, that makes it all the more authentic in my view. They actually recently renovated, so the atmosphere is a little more contemporary. Great prices, great food, quick service. Best spring rolls for sure.

Great food, great value, and fresh!!! Best resturant in town!!!. The food here is great and is always fresh. The serving size is also great. Two people can eat an entre plus apetizers plus drinks for less than $20. I could eat here everyday as there is a great variety on the menu. The most authentic Vietnamese resturant in town. I highly recommend this place.

great. best deal in town, great food, great prices and great service. waitress is the sweetest lady I know, food is always fresh and good sized servings, woderful atmosphere with prompt seating. I could eat here everyday.

Great, fresh Vietnamese food.. This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Nashville. I generally manage to have lunch there about once a week and I have never been disappointed. The waitress sees me come through the door and she doesn't even bring me a menu anymore, she just asks me what I want. I have two complaints:

1) They're closed on Mondays.

2) Everytime I eat there I have an incredible urge to eat there again the next day.

I have never experienced vietnamese food like this and, in speaking with the waitress I was very pleased (and not surprised) that all of the food is prepared fresh that day by a wonderful man whom upon meeting him had such a passion for authenticity and great fresh ingredients. A great atmosphere and again, just wonderful food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a great meal for an even better price. I LOVE IT!!!
