The familiar smiley face representing the world's largest retailer stands for dependably low prices and customer service.

Tips for Wal-Mart

April 16, 2013

There are sometimes not enough registers open. Most of the cashiers are surly, and very often, after my groceries are home I see that packages have been opened. For me it is too far of a drive to return things, so I have opted to go to the Springfield store. It is much cleaner and everyone is so much friendlier.

Bad Customer Service. I never really liked Walmart any way not enough registers open and bad customer service. Each time I go in a Walmart store thinking maybe the service has changed but it has not. I will not ever shop the Walmart on Charlotte again. The employees do not want to assist in helping the customers.

Worst Ever. Terrible service and they would not give me the things I paid. A warning should come with this place. Do not go there.

The familiar smiley face representing the world's largest retailer stands for dependably low prices and customer service.. In Short
What started as Sam Walton's vision in 1962 now accounts for more than $200 billion in annual sales. The well-respected discount store emphasizes value, customer care and variety. Thirty-six departments offer everything from shoes to DVD players, including apparel, health and beauty products, electronics, toys, fabrics, craft supplies, jewelry and outdoor equipment. Popular clothing lines include Levi Strauss, Wrangler and No Boundaries. In addition to a wide range of computer equipment, Wal-Mart Connect Internet service is also available.

Avoid this Walmart. I have had many miserable experiences with this store. The last time I was early in the morning. Grocery shopping. I had to wait in line 35 minutes to get to the check out, there were only two registers open. This is the norm for this stor no matter what time of the day yu go in there. There are never enough registers open for the number of customers. I got to the cashier and was getting out my check book and signing the check, when the cshier says "don't forget your bags" meaning that I should be also be loading the checked items into my now empty cart. I told her that I had now been in line for 40 minutes and did not give a damn about my bags until I had finished what I was doing. She gets all red in the face and starts throwing my bags into the cart. What is wrong at this store, is it management or just poor help? Don not ever expect anyone to come to the checkout if you have something that is not marked or you ask for a matching price on an item on sale at another store. Everyone is on a break or otherwise detained. I shop other walmarts and do not encounter the attitude I get at this walmart. This is closest to my house, but I drive to Ashland City, Dickson and the one off of Harding to avoid this store and now that H G Hill has closed at Hillwood and Charlotte there is no short run store near us. Yes Target is new but, groceries are limited and Kroger is down on Charlotte and now is so congested it is hard to get around in the parking lot. My advice is to not shop at the Walmart store on Charlotte. Drive a little way and get much better service.
