Mixed feelings
by PF
I've been to Greg's a few times in the past couple of years on recommendations from people. I like the guys that work there, they're always finished ahead of schedule, and they usually take care to use good parts.
The only problem is that the cost of repairs has always consistently been at least one-and-a-half times more the quoted cost, without fail, every time. A quote is given, I ask assuredly that the cost will be close to the quote; they call to tell me the work is done, and then total a cost that is nearly twice as much as what they told me - every time. I'm someone who is on a budget and can't afford to drop an extra couple hundred on the spot - even though I want to support them I just can't really afford the risk of going there anymore.
antique car's best friends
by Gii
Amazing beyond the ordinary service. One mechanic actually drove to start my car when it was stalled. Attention to detail. My thermostat reconnected, engine cleaned, ignition switch remounted in dash, all in addition to the requested service. Very fair price on the amount of work performed.
- Pros: Mechanics have passion for antique cars
- Cons: Shop operates at full capacity

This place was great. I had never taken a car in to get it worked on by myself before, and I was super nervous about someone being dishonest with me. The guys here listened to exactly what I said and road around with me and listened to my car so they understood what I was talking about. They fixed the problem very fast for a very reasonable price. I would definitely come back!
