Best cut I've had in years!!. I just recently relocated here to Nashville, TN, and I have been searching for a hairstylest. I've tried several other salon's, but was never really happy when I left. Frustrated with the fact that I just spent over $140.00 on my hair and had go re-do it all. With Scott, I finally found somebody who listens to me and get's what I want. I love the attention and service I recieve from both Scott and his staff from the minute I walk in the door. While it's not cheap, it's worth a few extra dollar's to me to feel satisfied and feel good about how a look. I highly recommend Scott Taylor's Salon to all. He not only my hairsylist, he's now my friend.
Just Fabulous!!. I have had the pleasure of having Scott Taylor as a hair stylist and friend for the past six years. I just went to Las Vegas and met a stylist to the stars. She went on an on about the color of my hair. She said it was one of the best she had ever seen!! She told me that I was very lucky to have some one this talented in Nashville. I agree. He is talented, friendly, professional, and a wonderful chrisitian man. I will continue to go to Scott until he cannot hold a pair of scissors anymore.
If you have lots of time......
While Scott himself is very good at what he does, the wait time to get into his chair can be excessive.
The staff turnover is very high.
oK. I have gone to Scott twice, the first time it was ok, I came out with an average haircut that cost me $60.00, the second time my haircut was really bad and my haircoloring washed out in 1 week. Definetly would go to a cheaper place in the future, not worth the money.
Loyal customer.... I have been going to Scott Taylor's Salon for over two years now. I have gone to many places in the past, from SuperCuts to other "salons." I have always had the best haircut, color, and attention with Scott. Is it expensive, yes. You get what you pay for the upmost attention, experience and talent. I'm not rich by any means. Is there a wait? Most of the times, yes. But I have yet to be in a salon where there isn't one, and I would rather wait if I know I am going to get the best hairstyle and color possible. Is Scott "cocky" as someone alluded too? If confidence in your work is cocky, yes, Scott is. He has the experience and best of all, many, many repeat customers. Judge for yourself. I will continue to go even though I will moving farther away.
waiting, waiting, waiting. I went to Scott a few months back for a color and haircut. his attitude was cocky and I was there for 4 hours. I told them when I made my appointment that I had a wedding that afternoon, and Scott said I would be done in plenty of time. When I arrived I waited like 40 minutes and I again asked if I would be done on time. scott insisted that he'd have me "looking fabulous in time" for the wedding. But I was late for the wedding and to top it off HE knew I was late and didn't even apologize or acknowledge it, but the girl at the front desk did. I don't appreciate someone who doesn't value my time. I didn't want to be sitting there waiting all day, but I did. I'd rather go somewhere else where it only takes an hour or so.
Worth the drive. My wife won't turn her hair over to just anyone, that's why she drives three hours - both ways - to get Scott to do the job. His staff is personable and accomodating, and Scott takes pride in making sure the cut "works" for the customer. He and his staff make sure each customer receives the full extent of their skills and knowledge and don't get rushed through the process. The style, the visit, the feeling afterwards have always proven to be worth the effort to frequent Scott's salon. Nashville is lucky to have him in town.
THE only place to go in Nashville. Scott is a wonderful artist. He will make your style beyound your expectations. He also has a great staff. You will be happy you went.
Emperor's New Clothes. Like a magician, Scott has great lighting, flourishes and the words you want to hear about what he will do for you. The reality, after paying an unbelieveable $70 for a simple cut, was a very average cut, no better than what I pay $15 for up the road. Scott is a nice guy and so is his staff, but definitely not worth the money. What was meant to be a special treat was a disappointment.
Very average experience. Overall experience was very average. My hair cut was very average. Some folks on the staff were great. The wait was ridiculously long.
