Pubic Hair cooked in my mashed potatoes! Gross, Gross, Gross!. I have ordered delivery from Dalt's twice. The first meal was satisfactory but not excellent. I ordered a 2nd time because there weren't many other delivery options available to me at my location. The second order LOOKED good despite being cold. However, two bites into the mashed potatoes I discovered a dark hair that looked like a PUBIC HAIR. I was too grossed out to eat anything else. I called the restaurant and they did not offer any resolution, refund, re-delivery, etc. I will never order from them or eat there again, and I highly question their sanitary standards!!

great money saving coupons. Not only will you be pleased with the food but they have plenty of little coupons floating around. Sign up to recieve e-mail and they send you free appetizers and $5.00 off your next visit. We bought a coupon book from our nieghbors child and they have buy one get one free coupons. Dalt's is not a pricey place to eat to begin with but who doesn't want to save a little more money? I will say that with the book coupons that a 15% gratuity is already added to the bill no matter how many people are with you. In my opinion, this is a good thing because most people tend to tip on the discounted price and the total amount of their bills. With my experience with this restaurant, I have never recieved bad service and in most cases the waiting staff here deserves more than the customary 20%. I will continue to come here to eat for as long as i remain in the area!

Forced us to leave a 15%. The dictionary defines a gratuity as "a gift of money, over and above payment due for service, as to a waiter or bellhop; tip". A friend of mine and I ate here last night and the food was good. What set me off was that there were only two of us and they automatically charged us a 15% "gratuity". I don't appreciate being forced to pay a "gratuity" when it is something that is subjective and that the buyer should be allowed to decide the amount of based on the service they received. I hope they're happy with their 15% "gratuity" because I will not be eating there anymore. If they had not forced me to pay a 15% "gratuity", I might've even left them a 20% gratuity on my own accord because that is what I usually do for good service. The service was acceptable by the way. With that in mind, the waiter (and Dalts) cheated themselves out of an additional 5% gratuity.

Terrible food and service. The food was terrible, my friend ordered eggs benedict and it was freezing cold. The chicken fingers are not good either. I used to love it when I was young, but it definitely is not as good as I remember. It tastes like cheap bar food.

You must eat here. The wood fired Salmon is as good as it gets. squash casserole is perfect. If you are staying in Vandy hospital they deliever. Red smashed potatoes are great. Grilled chicken on spinach salad is great,. Wish I had more time to eat more of the menu. Also was recommended by a picky nurse that the chicken and buttons are great. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the chicken pie. The crust was a little to thin and skimpy for an appetite, This place is excellent and has awesome service. Thanks Big Al

Local favorite delivers comfort food of the upscale variety.. In Short
Walk into Dalts and you're apt to see booths filled with teenagers snacking on a plate of cheese fries and families spread through the large dining room. Dalts' menu reflects that of an upscale diner, with malts, shakes, comfort foods and every type of burger (garden and turkey included) fathomable. Favorites include the bacon swiss burger, reuben or chicken salad quesadilla. There's also teryaki glazed salmon, meat loaf, chicken puff pie, quesadillas and taquitos.

60s & 70s Haven. I met old friends from college there on a recent trip to Nashville, and it felt so good to see that some things can be counted on, like this favorite gathering place. A handsome young manager assisted our server, and the food is superior to many more expensive places in my beloved home town. Next time I am in Nashville, I will be in Dalts, for good fellowship, food, drinks and atmosphere!
