***DO NOT WATSE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE**. I bought a fundraiser coupon booklet for which a coupon for this business was in this booklet for a free pizza, no purchase necessary. I drove all the way across town to use this coupon. When I got to this restaurant to place the order and use the coupon, they stated that they do not honor that coupon. They also stated the previous owner had printed that one and that restaurant is under new ownership and would not accept the coupon. It appears that the restaurant wants the advertisement exposure from the fundraiser booklet but do not want to honor the coupon, just possible extra foot traffic into the restaurant from the free or discounted advertisement from it.This creates bad exposure for future sells for the fundraiser booklets. If they don't care about the PR for their own business, at least think about the future lost sales and lost revenue for the fundraisers themselves and not misuse or mislead customers from the advertisement from those fundraiser booklets.…
Wow! This Place Has Gone WAY Downhill!!.
Eek! What happened to Caesar's? I gather that the real Caesar retired, and his son (or cousin or someone) took this place over and craftily renamed it Caesar's "Bistro." It could not be further from
the good Italian restaurant that the original Caesar's was!!
In a nutshell, this was some of the worst Italian food I have ever had. The sauces are bland and all taste the same, the eggplant parmigan was so mushy and watery that it was impossible to tell what it really was. The previously delicious garlic bread was dry, stale, and loaded with grease. The pizza was topped with canned vegetables (yes, really) and the crust wasn't even completely cooked.
Adding insult to grossness, the wait staff was complaintive, unprofessional, and, well, really tacky in both appearance and interaction. On the night we were there, nearly half the tables were empty, yet a crowd waited by the door (there had been a 2 for 1 promotion). Those waiting were snippily told that wait staff had not shown up for work, so there was nothing anyone could do.
Um, yeah. How about an apology? Maybe a free appetizer or glass of wine while waiting? Maybe even (GASP!) require your lame wait staff to work a little harder?
Additionally, the "new" Caesar's is dusty, disheveled, and depressing atmosphere-wise. I've been to cheerier and cleaner fast food places.
I give this place maybe, MAYBE, one year, tops. Really awful.…
Simply Great what a menu. Good prices
New Owner/ Not the Same.
We've enjoyed Caesar's for a while for moderately good Italian at decent prices, good service, and a pleasant, if a bit funky, atmosphere.
We were pretty disappointed the other night, upon returning for the first time since new ownership has taken over, to find the atmosphere lacking, the staff unprofessional, and the food poor.
Hopefully, these are just growing pains. The pizza, which had always been great before, was covered with canned toppings and rubbery cheese. It was soggy and not completely cooked.
The staff seemed confused and mildly irritated, talking loudly about their frustrations. Although they had been closed for a week or so to "prepare" for the reopening, the restaurant seemed messy, and the walls were empty of many of the classic momentos that had made Caesar's a unique place.
Ah well. Another one bites the dust.…
Real people, really great food.
When you walk in you thing "OK this will be mediocre". I am always blown away once I sit down when I visit this place from out of state.
Yes it is not always packed like the chains that surround it. These folks work harder than most to make sure you are happy and that the food is excellent.
Remember, it is very easy to get motivated to write a bad review but it is a challenge to sign up and write a good review.
They had a great guitarist playing while I ate! Where do you get that these days???
The salad bar looked OK but once I tasted the dressing I knew it was homemade and I then knew I was in for a great meal.
I ordered the scallops and I was worried they would not be fresh. Man were they great!!!!!!
Cheers to all…
