We recently purchased what appeared to me a very well made set of book cases. The shelves are adjustable and guess what we found when we looked at the back edge of the shelf, melinite, or press wood. For the price I thought I was getting a solid wood piece of furniture. Shame on me for not asking.

While buiding our home in 2005, my son wanted modern bedroom furniture for his new room. We went to 2Danes and everyone was so nice and helpful. We picked out the furniture that we wanted, some of which had to be special ordered. We were still 2 months away from being able to move into the house and the folks there at 2Danes were so understanding and actually stored the furniture for us for for a few weeks until we could have it delivered. I would definitely reccommend 2Danes to anyone desiring the highest of quality in unique modern furniture. They have the sort of modern furniture you might see in the pages of magazines like Architectural Digest, Modern Living, etc.

We recently moved to Nashville, and needed some new furniture. After reading the review below, we weren't sure what to expect. We deliberately dressed rather shabbily (jeans and t-shirt), and drove there on a Saturday afternoon in our small commuter car. We need not have been concerned - the staff treated us quite well. They spent lots of time showing us around, despite the store being very busy, and demonstrated a lot of knowledge and expertise. We've been in Scandinavian furniture stores in other metro areas, and contrary to the review below, we find that 2 Danes is not overpriced. They have a good selection and lots of options to choose from. We ended up buying some furniture, and we'll be going back for more.
