Disappointed. Beautiful selection of gowns...BUT, unfortunately this has been a disappointing experience as an out of town bride. Demanded the remainder of our payment immediately before I could try it on...they are clearly more interested in your money than YOU. Even worse, they measured me horribly and ordered the wrong size. Now it will be even more expensive to pay for alterations. Please, explore your options and do not settle on this place impulsively, even if you feel like you found that "perfect" gown. Take it from one who regrets choosing this vendor.

I would also suggest that the staff, especially the owner of the store, take some training courses in customer service.

Would absolutely not recommend this place, especially if you live out of town.

Wonderful customer service. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at B.Hughes. I went to several other stores in the area and they were either very high pressure or snooty. My rep, Anne, really worked with me to find the perfect dress. She was so fun to work with and gave me honest opinions to help me narrow down a dress without pressuring me into the more expensive ones. She even picked out my dress for me! I never would have picked it and I LOVE it!!! It is my dream dress! I highly, highly recommend them!

Poor Customer Service. I was told that my bridal shoes would come in in 2-3 weeks and scheduled my dress fitting accordingly. When the shoes hadn't come in by the day before I inquired and was told that the shoes had shipped. I scheduled my second fitting accordingly. When they hadn't arrived again by the day before the second fitting, I called five times and was told that someone would get back to me and no one ever did. When I called a sixth time I finally got an answer: the shoes had been backordered, had not in fact shipped and that they were being dyed that day. Instead of a forthright apology, the staff member I talked to blamed the situation on an intern.

Good customer service. B. Hughes had the best customer service out of the high end bridal shops I've been to. The other stores I visited were very snooty when I said I only wanted to try on bridesmaids dresses. The clerk was nice and very helpful, even while knowing that I am on a budget. I will be going back to B. Hughes to purchase my gown.

Beautiful Gowns. The ONLY place in Nashville to find the perfect gown! I purchased an amazing Vera Wang Luxe gown along with Vera Wang bridesmaid dresses and loved them all! I can't even count how many times I went in trying on gowns and they were always wonderful and patient! There was a bit of a snag after the wedding over a lost Vera Wang certificate, but Karen contacted Vera Wang in New York and had a letter of authenticity sent to me!! They definitely cover every detail with a fine tooth comb!

Excellent. B. Hughes was great! They are the only place in Nashville you can find Vera Wang, and when your getting married, who wants to wear anything besides Vera Wang? :) Excellent customer service, excellent communication. I wish it was a little bigger in square footage, but the selection is so great it doesn't matter. Highly recommended!!

Great experience. i had an incredibly positive experience at this store. the staff made me feel welcome, special, and had a meticulous eye for detail. they were patient while i tried on just about every dress in the store and were extremely excited when i came back and bought one. i had gone here on a very positive recommendation from someone else.

Wonderful Experience. I had a wonderful experience when serching for a dress. The atmosphere was inviting. The selection of dresses, headpieces, veils, and bridesmaid gowns was great. I was able to find everything in one stop! I would definitely recommend this shop.
