Tips for Stephen Foster Apartments

Nashville's Best Kept Secret. So far, I have really enjoyed living at Stephen Foster Apartments. I moved from a place on West End and have found my new place at SFA to be much more convenient and comfortable. The community is small and quiet. The facilities are well kept, maintained well, and always look great. I haven't noticed a single bug, which was a major issue at my last place. The price for the area is great, and I love having the option of a washer/dryer. Overall, I really enjoy SFA!

love the place, love the people. I've looked at this complex twice in the last several years, and have been quite impressed. You can get anywhere you need to be quickly, 12South being my favorite part of town. Laurie, the property manager, treated me with nothing but kindness and understanding when we didn't end up moving to Nashville. We have a friend who lives on the property who has had a wonderful experience, and if our plans change again, we will definitely be going there. I also bumped into the maintenance man while there, and he was equally lovely.

Great location and fair price. I lived in Stephen Foster for a year and was very pleased with what I got for my money. The apartments are centrally located to access Green Hills, Lipscomb, downtown, Vandy, etc. I rarely had any maintenance issues, but when I did, the maintenance staff came at a moments notice. The complex is not the top of the line, but it is very adequate for the area and the price. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to be in the Green Hills area without a caviar budget. Note: I had issues with Comcast signals fluctuating daily. This was a Comcast issue and not an apartment issue.

don't bother trying. We applied for an apartment at this complex, and were honest with the manager (Ms. Castner) about our financial situation. She collected our $70 worth of application fees without hesitation, then waited 8 days to tell us she wouldn't give us a lease. She said attempts had been made to speak with our former apartment's management, but they had never responded.

I checked with our former apartment's management.

No calls or messages had been received from the Stephen Foster.

Their manager Ms. Castner wasted our time, lied to us, and then charged us for the privilege. Don't bother with this place - there are plenty of other wonderful places to live in Nashville.
