In Short
Behind the non-descript facade and serene atmosphere, an inviting globetrotting menu awaits you. The crowd ranges from attractive middle-aged women deep in conversation with their friends to young artsy couples cooing over glasses of wine. The menu is a motley assortment of worldly home-style dishes. Good bets on the seasonal dinner menu include Moroccan chicken with preserved lemons or the hearty Cuban pork tenderloin with a mango, banana and avocado salad.

Yellow Porch is a restaurant I could visit at least once a week during spring, summer and fall, and never get tired of it. Great patio space (even though it overlooks Thompson Lane), great food (the Blue Cheese Celery Soup is wonderful, as well as the bread), great service (this is what Wild Iris SHOULD be doing). My only advice is to get there EARLY. Otherwise, you'll be circling the non-existent parking lot forever, trying to snag a space.

I have been dining at the Yellow Porch for over two years. I have dined there for both business and pleasure. I must say they are one of the best places around town. The service is exceptional and the food is top notch. Whether it is only two of you or up to 20! The service is great. You will not be disappointed. I have customers/employee's talk about this place months later.

I recently ate at The Yellow Porch for my 1st time. It most definitely won't be my last time to dine there. Food was some of the best I've ever had!, Chef Joey Lamb outdid himself! I hope they are paying him well! Wish I could afford him as my personal chef!! Appetizers were fantastic and so was the main course. Waiter/server Shaun did an excellent job also. Only downsides was that we almost drove right by the restaurant missing seeing the tiny sign outside. But main complaint is that the place was too dimly lit. Food that delicious , should be SEEN as well as tasted!! Needed a flashlight to see!!!!! Turn up the lights folks!! Those of you that haven't been to Yellow Porch should certainly try it out. You won't be disappointed!!
